We stayed for one night at the Hotel Kreuzlingen am Hafen.
The room was very nice, clean, spacious and practical (a charger closer to the bed was missing though). Nice breakfast with a large selection of breads, good coffee and a very nice lady who served the beverages.

a lovely little hotel with great staff! pleasant environment, free high-speed internet access and a flat-screen TV with all major national and international channels.

The Vanilla room - offers a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. In the evenings, the vanilla room was transformed into a bar and lounge.
A wonderful view of Kreuzlingen and a quick walk to Konstanz. Parks and walkways available

The hotel is in a very good location for walking along the lake and crossing the border to Konstanz, Germany. It was a spacious room. We had a lake view room. It was not a great view since there is a restaurant across the street blocking part of the lake. Still, it was very comfortable. We had a king size bed, a desk and a long bench. There was no wifi in the room. One had to go downstairs to the bar area. The sink is outside of the bathroom (Europeans like doing this.). There is a smoky glass wall dividing the bathroom from the rest of the room. So when you turn on the light in the bathroom, your roommate could be bothered by this.
Personnel were very pleasant. We arrived at the hotel by taxi. But the day we checked out, the fellow behind the desk taught us to walk to the banhoff hafen where we took a train to the main train station of Kreuzlingen. From there, we just stood on the same platform for our train to Zurich.
Buffet breakfast was generous, the usual cereals, fruit and cold cuts and cheese. What we did like was the free bottles of water. You picked it up yourself from beside the elevator. They also had a bowl of fruit where guests could help themselves.
Altogether, a very comfortable and pleasant hotel.

As we are traveling to attend the dog show in Kreuzlingen 08/2018 we have booked the hotel on Booking.com. The hotel states dogs are allowed upon an extra fee and confirmation.

The booking was confirmed Friday 20.07.2018 on Booking.com. Saturday 21.07.2018 the hotel stated their „dog contingent“ is exhausted and they already have cancelled my booking.

Upon I called they told me if I would have booked the hotel one year in advance it would have been no problem (this hotel doesn`t offer free cancellation...)!

So my advice is, if you are traveling to Kreuzlingen with dogs or even because of dogs - this hotel needs 1 year advance booking with no free cancellation on offer :-). I am glad there are more hotels then that!

A few niggles such as the bed being to low for us oldies, no charger by the bed and very limited food in the restaurant/cafe. Otherwise the staff are very good and the hotel is clean and comfortable with parking. You can get free bottles of water for your room.
Wouldn't recommend for a tourist stay more of an overnight stop as the town is not much to speak of, Konstanz close by is much more of a tourist place.

Nice hotel and a lot of respect for the lady who is taking care off the breakfast. She works very hard to make sure that everybody is happy. Rooms are okay, certainly if you need it during the day to work or so.

The owner is in the hotel and is sitting on his chair behind the reception. He is not showing a lot of interests in his guests and even when we checked out there was no question about whether we satisfied or not.

This is a new, very modern hotel. The shower was interesting with frosted glass, and the sink was out in the bedroom. It is not usual or our preference, but it worked fine for us. We love the total wet room showers.
The staff was outstanding. The check-in staff helped us find a self-serve laundry in Konstanz. It seems there are no or very few laundromats in Switzerland.
The dinner server/bartender was friendly and such a delight. This is a lovely hotel and quite moderately priced with free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast included would have been a very positive bonus. $15 per person is steep as I basically have yogurt and juice.

Stayed here for two weeks business related with a weekend in between. Lake Konstanz and the surrounding scenery especially this time of year is fantastic. I noticed at the weekend many people staying at the hotel with their dogs which surprised me. But maybe that is a feature here and allows people the choice to stay and enjoy with their pet for a weekend.
I would recommend this hotel and for sure the surrounding area and the scenery.

We spent two nights here as it is good for parking a car unlike many places in Constance, which is where we wanted to spend our time. This place is just 10 minutes walk from the town centre (crossing the border into Germany on the way) along a pleasant lakeside path. The hotel looks as though it was built very recently and is of a very modern design. The shower room was "wet room" style and the wash basin was in the bedroom itself! There was no hook to hang clothes or dressing gowns in the shower room and the bedside lights were inadequate for reading by. The breakfasts were of a good quality and included some hot food as well as the usual Swizz cold foods. The hotel did not offer evening meals but as we spent most of our time in Constance where there are many good restaurants to we did not find this a problem. The hotel is very close to one of the lakeside piers where you can board boats for trips across or around Lake Constance.

The hotel is right across Lake Constance. We ran on the trial from Kreuzlingen to Konstanz in the morning along the lake and it was beautiful. The hotel room is small, simple and contemporary. I was worried first, but the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel staff are helpful. They put bottles of still and sparking water at each floor, which I really appreciate. Breakfast is good. One complaint I have is the electronic outlet is difficult for adapters that I brought from US.

Do walk over to Konstanz for dinner. Very nice town with lots of shopping and restaurants.
