We were lucky to stumble upon this lovely Inn on our last night in Cape Breton. We received a warm welcome upon checking in, the room was cozy with extremely comfortable beds and our dinner was delicious. The location near the St. Peter's canal was lovely. After breakfast we walked for an hour along the side of the canal and...

It is always rewarding to have a passerby venture into the Inn and find us welcoming and accommodating to their requirements. Perhaps we will see you again for a paddle trip from our dock! Glad you and your friends enjoyed the walk. Thank you for your comments.

A quaint, at the end of the town Inn and overlooking a small cove. Helpful staff. The room was clean and cottage-like. The highlight of this stay was the food! We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. They have an award winning in-house chef. Reasonably priced!

Thank you for your kind reflections on our staff, food and rooms. Rhoda and Jean Pierre work hard at maintaining the new Four and A Half Star designation for the Inn and dining room and we are pleased you enjoyed it all.

Our recent trip to Cape Breton Island began with our first overnight stay at this charming inn which we'd found on trip advisor - dinner at the inn's restaurant was superb, chowder divine and the chef, extraordinaire (who also prepared for us a gourmet breakfast buffet that included fresh omelets and crepes made to order!). Highly recommend this country charmer...

Recently we planned a small conference at the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn. We had several guests staying at the hotel and utilized the hotel space for our workshop as well as planning meals/snacks at the Inn. The service our guests received was reported back to us as top level in excellence. The owners of the Inn went out of their...

We recently stayed at the so called Bras d Or Lakes Inn in St Peters on our stay there we were entered only to find two little double size beds big enough for one or kids let alone a full size adult to sleep on! I can honestly say laying on that mattress was like laying on a bail of...

The Inn is proudly called the Bras d’Or Lakes Inn as we are situated on the Bras d’Or Lakes Scenic Trail and offer superior accommodation and service in the eyes of many guests and rating services in the hospitality business. It is regrettable that our guest rooms with two Double Beds, versus our King or Queen, all of which are...

Was a nice lodge type inn, thought we would have more of a lake view. Beds were very comfortable. We found that the room we had was noisy from the other room doors closing. They were very loud. So for comfort, cleanliness give it a 4.

Thank you for letting us know of your experience with the door(s) near your room. The manager has scheduled for a review of this issue in general as one room was already identified for attention by staff. The lake view is best from the dining room, deck and dock areas due to the original design and layout considerations for the...

Jean-Pierre and Rhoda are great hosts. Maritime hospitality at it's best. Clean, comfortable rooms, attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is a great deal as well. Close to all there is to see in St. Peter's.

We do hear quite often about how comfortable the rooms are. And nothing like a great breakfast after a good sleep. Pleased to have made you visit to our village on the canal noteworthy for you.

The inn is in a great location and made a refreshing change from chain hotels/motels. The room had everything we needed and very comfortable beds. The restaurant is EXCELLENT!
