My wife, son and I are from P.E.I. and we wanted a unique experience. Cabot Shores delivered big time! Some nice hiking nearby, canoes and kayaks onsite. Laura and the rest of staff were very warm and helpful. The common areas in the lodge were comfortable, inspiring, had great food, books, games and beverages, also open 24 hours. Lots of...

Great accommodations and food with great staff. Rooms are clean and very nice. Visited in late fall but this resort would be great at any point during the year. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when working in the area.

It was an amazing stay, beautiful scenic view, cozy, a lot of activities. The cedar yurt was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The food was one of our favourites. It makes a big difference staying somewhere with such a friendly environment with wonderful workers! We highly appreciated everything and will definitely be back again!

From the moment we set foot in the building we felt home. The staff, the food , the accoms, the coffee, the air. I don't think I could possibly sum up how wonderful this was in brief. I recommend it to anyone who find themselves on the trail. I have spent 20 plus years on the road as a touring...

Myself and a group of friends (approx 14 of us) chose to stay here at Cabot Shores for 5 days over November 2016. What an amazing place. The setting is incredible, we stayed in two of the Cabins which are on the shores of the lake. One cabin held 9 of us and the other 6. The beds we had...

My partner and I stayed at Cabot Shores during Thanksgiving weekend as well. Our opinion was the same as the review below; we felt very locked in to spending much more than anticipated upon arrival. We had dinner on the resort the first night we were there; it was delicious and fortunately the portions were large enough to feed us...

My husband and I stayed here while spending a few days hiking Cape Breton Highland Park. Because it was a trip that was planned so last minute and we needed somewhere that was dog friendly, I didn't do the research I normally do. We arrived the night they were offering Thanksgiving dinner and we felt as though we were a...

One of the more interesting overnights on my trip through Nova Scotia. Great individual attention to guests. Including preparing a special meal to avoid my fish alergy! Comfortable rooms and interesting property to explore.

My husband and I stayed in the Apple Dome and we were pleasantly surprised! Everything you need is in it: no need to bring any pillows or blankets/sleeping bags! We actually slept amazingly well and even though the night was cool and rainy, we were kept warm and dry with all the blankets. The bistro: oh please try the bistro....
