Situated under a canopy of trees, Moody River B&B is only one kilometer from the Crocodile River. The B&B in Marloth Park is close to shops, fuel station, swimming pools, a laundromat and other amenities. Marloth Park is home to a variety of animals and birds and shares a border with the Kruger National Park where you may be able to spot the Big 5.
My first visit to South Africa, we had booked one night here in Marloth Park (next to Kruger) as Kruger was booked; am so glad we found this beautiful B&B and park. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. The host, Angela was fantastic, kind and informative. Very helpful. We enjoyed our stay we booked for an additional night before departure as we knew the stay would be restful. A full breakfast, with tea making facilities in the room - provided all we needed. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. There is an upstairs balcony from where you can view Bush babies (didn't see them), watched Warthog, Kudu and the sky at night, we heard the Lions which had recently entered the park! Whilst eating breakfast several Wildebeest passed by and when taking a walk we bumped into a giraffe, ostrich, warthog, zebra, Guinea fowl, Impala, vervet monkeys and countless species of birds. Amazing to be on foot and viewing. I would thoroughly recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you for making my first visit so very enjoyable.…
