I stayed for 2 nights due to work and I really can't recommend this place enough. The food is amazing both dinner and breakfast. The room was very quirky and so were the staff! Nothing really to complain about

I stayed with my partner for 1 night whilst visiting a friend. The room seemed slightly expensive, although it was comfy and cosy with tea and coffee and TV inside. The bathroom was stiffilingly hot! Breakfast was included, although the mushrooms was one mushroom on my plate which was funny. I stayed above the pub, I think many people would... More

This was a last minute choice. Finding somewhere in Oxford was looking increasingly unlikely so I settled for the Cherry Tree in Steventon close to Abingdon - and wasn't disappointed.. Let's get the negative comments out of the way first. The room was in an outside block, comfortable, clean and ideal for a one or two-night stay. Unfortunately the single... More

We travelled to Didcot to visit the latest arrival to the family. To make it easier for my duagter and son in law we elected to stay in a hotel. We have used a Wadworth Inn before and with the Cherry Tree being very convenient for visiting we hoped it would be of the same standard. We were not disappointed.... More

The property was OK, but nothing special. The food was OK, the room was OK the staff were OK. There was nothing bad, but nothing stood out. Basically it was bland - nothing wrong and it served a purpose, but if I were coming to the area again I'd try elsewhere.

Good food and selection of beers, rooms are a little small but perfectly adequate for an overnight business trip. my room had two single beds however at 6 foot plus and 18 stone a double would have been more comfortable. Staff are friendly and attentive, would stay there again

Suits everyone of all adult ages. Central Oxfordshhire location that allows easy acess to towns, cities and countryside alike.Even a 45 minute train journey from nearby Didcot to London. Great menu and excellent atmosphere too.

Very old room, don't expect a flat surface, enjoy. Very good breakfast but a few items unavailable on the evening menu. Stayed because we needed to be in the area - not a destination inn. Overall very good.

Handy location in Steventon close to Abingdon. Excellent pub/restaurant and good English breakfast. Rooms are purpose built out the back of the pub and are basic but comfortable. Restaurant is reasonably priced and very good quality. The mixed grill on Saturday night was superb.

Lovely old pub, good atmosphere in the evening and evening meal was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean and we had a very good night's sleep. We would not hesitate to recommend this pub to friends and Will certainly return ourselves.
