The Springfield Hotel enjoys fabulous views over the River Dee and has excellent road links to the beautiful Roman city of Chester, North-West England and North Wales. This friendly, comfortable hotel enjoys a fantastic location for those travelling on business or for those exploring the attractions and stunning countryside of North Wales. All of the rooms are well equipped with large flatscreen television, free superfast wifi throughout, tea/coffee making facilities and en-suite showers and baths. The Hotel offers a large Health Club with gymnasium featuring Technogym equipment, Sauna, Steam Room and large balcony Hot Tub with wonderful views. All these facilities are free to Hotel residents. In addition a superb new Spa, offering a wide range of treatments along with a Rasul Mud Room, has now opened. We do advise booking treatments in advance. The Restaurant and Bar offer quality home-cooked food, made using fresh local produce and a huge selection of drinks and wines. We are particularly proud of our food and have many regular customers. Or simply relax in the Bar, showing Sky and BT Sports, and take in the stunning views from the heated outdoorTerrace.

Many thanks to Gynette, Paul, Kim, Simon & the team for a really excellent Christmas Fayre evening meal recently, for over forty of our Club members, with many of us staying overnight in the clean & comfortable bedroom accommodation. The restaurant table arrangements were exactly as we had requested, the dishes were beautifully presented & enjoyed by everyone. There was close attention to detail throughout the evening, overseen by Paul & Kim and their professional, well managed team. Likewise, the breakfast buffet the following morning (enjoyed by twenty-four of us) had a very good range of options to choose from and rounded off a delightful stay.

Extremely accommodating staff, very friendly and nice rooms. Didn't seem that anything was too much to ask. Even cared for my own requirements during my stay to allow another day being held up by personal reasons. Foods really good. And overall the place looks clean and well kept. Top notch.

Would come again but could be a lot better. Spa is good massage is good. Spa facilities okay,but little things like not having hooks to hang your robes and shoes by the jacuzzi ruins it a bit as when you put the robes/shoes on again they are damp. Food in the resteraunt was okay but the burger was very chewwy but the chips were lovely.

I had heard good things about the Springfield especially their restaurant 32A. And I have to say in most aspects they lived up to and exceeded my expectations.Iit didn’t start off so well when they took me via the narrow stairs up to my room which was quite difficult for someone with two suitcases and a crutch. The rooms are fairly basic- no minibar, just coffee and chocolate and UHT milk but the bathroom was absolutely gleaming and the whole place looked very clean. Where they excelled was in the customer service. When I hurt my ankle the two bedroom staff Ellie and Lauren were absolutely terrific. Paul the manager immediately offered me a ground floor room but as I was happy I stayed where I was. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were great and I was snug and warm even without the heater on. And I have to say the restaurant lived up to expectations. Crispy crackling on the belly pork which was beautifully soft. Fish was melt in your mouth and everything was well above what you would expect in a travelling businessperson hotel. And the spa facilities were great and free to hotel residents. …

Just stayed here for two nights meeting up with family and was very impressed. Reasonable size bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower with hot water. One concern in bathroom - getting in and out of the bath - could be dangerous for someone who is unsteady on their feet. Food including breakfast is very nice. This hotel is very clean and comfortable but their best feature is their staff. Staff are super helpful, friendly, professional, and always had a smile for you.

Visited whilst in the area to see friends. This is like 2 different buildings stuck together. The left side with the spa and restaurant is new and very nice whilst the hotel on the right side is very very dated. It needs a total overhaul, chipped furniture, bathroom wasn't great and the room was very small. Not great at all.

Everything about our stay was 5*. Relaxing hot tub with lovely views. Comfortable bed in a cosy room. We had an evening meal and buffet breakfast, both delicious.Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going again.

Booked for a party of 6 at the last minute and pleasantly surprised ,facilities were excellent and staff very helpful and professional, great buffet breakfast with quality products which were constantly topped up. Dinner was o.k very much a gastro pub type menu. Room comfortable but needed some freshening up as becoming a bit tatty around the edges ..our room had a poor outlook with a neighbours bungalow but the other 2 couples had great views over the countryside. Bed comfortable but beware walls paper thin and you can hear everything especially tv's but slept o.kish. ..good size carpark so parking no issue...good VFM ok for night or 2 ...breakfast a bargain when paid for in advance £8 very well spent.
