The hotel was really clean and easily accessible from stations, Lawson's and restaurants. Our rooms were immqculate, futon beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Our host Heday-san was really accommodating and kind. He picked us up from the station and took us to the snow monkeys and bus stops! Also the onsen was a big bonus for the end...

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Heday-san was always very welcoming and cheerful and gave us plenty of help and great advice. Our room was very nice and extremely large. It was in the traditional Japanese style which was great.

Heday-San is a really great host. He made us feel very welcome by waiting for us at the station and showing us around. After we checked in he even took us to the monkey park, when we came back from the park our luggage was up in our room. The place is clean and cozy. You have everything you need...

We arrived at yudenaka station and walked to bozanso within 15 minutes (with a quick map check!) We were greeted immediately on arrival by our host even though we were the only people staying and he quickly answered all questions that we had about the yudenaka monkey park that we planned to visit that night. He also informed us a...

This traditional style hotel is great for a small trip in Yamanouchi. There is a large tata;i room that comes equipped with hot and ice water, a tea set, and yukata! There is also a small and yet extremely comfortable onsen available for most of the day. Nothing beats a steamy hot bath after a long day of walk. The...

Good value for the price! The owner left me a note on the door as I arrived quite late, literally just to sleep, wake up early and leave. He told us here were no female guests on the hotel so let us use the female onsen privately which was a very nice gesture. He gave us a room bigger that...

The place has an old rustic charm with a really good onsen and a witty charming and funny owner who drives you to and from the station and to the monkey park for no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again next time I visit Yudenaka.

I stayed here for two nights in the middle of June with my two brothers. During this time the village is quiet with only locals and the occasional Japanese tourist.
