We stayed at the studio for a long weekend and found it warm and welcoming with all you'd expect from luxury accommodation; the fridge was stocked with milk, soft drinks and bottled water.Tea and coffee were also provided. The huge bed is comfortable and equipped with high quality bed linen and the general level of cleanliness is superb. Bettina and Jonathan are friendly and helpful hosts; they provided us with excellent breakfasts in the cosy kitchen of their beautiful home and shared useful information about local places of interest. Their very well thought-out Covid policy made us feel very safe & comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our restful break at Knelle Dower.
Had a lovely stay at this perfect relaxing retreat for couples. There is a great bike ride to the Horse and Cart in Peasmarsh via the country lanes too. Breakfast was lovely and worked off on the tennis court in between the showers. we spent a lot of time in the room as we like to chill and watch films, the TV could be bigger and it would be great if you could watch this in bed, but that is just being picky :-) We will be back -thank you
We have just returned from a short break to Knelle Dower Studio B&B, what a find!! Spacious, amazing views, privacy, clean and very comfortable. Bettina and Jonathan were perfect hosts and could not have done more to make our stay more pleasant. Breakfast was scrumptious in their delightful house. I would recommend The Studio without any hesitation for a restful and peaceful break.
Me and my girlfriend have just come back from a weekend break in the knelle dower studio it was fantastic I recommend this for a lovely break who ever you take would be over the moon and you both would have lovely memories for life xx
I stayed here with my mum to celebrate turning 40 and could not have asked for a more beautiful spot. The view from the private balcony is truly breath-taking and on a quiet afternoon and evening there is no nicer place to relax, listening to the birds, the wind in the trees, and watching the sun set. You feel like you have the countryside all to yourself and its the perfect antidote to a busy day sight-seeing around gorgeous Rye. The beds were really comfortable and the linen was crisp and clean, the bathroom was modern and well-equipped - and when you're lying in bed, you can still gaze out at the sun-set. The breakfasts were AWESOME and such a great start to the day, in the most beautiful peaceful room, and finally, the hosts, Bettina and Jonathan, are simply lovely - friendly, polite, and genuine people. I loved this place and can't think of a single fault. It's absolutely perfect if you find hotel rooms too cramped and don't like sharing party walls with absolute strangers, love the countryside, and are looking for somewhere restorative and beautiful to stay.…
