A colleague and me got booked into this very nice hotel during a business trip June 2016. My room was in the first floor including a balkony with a look on the beergarden. The room itself had this alpine style, but was very modern furnitured. Including the sanitation area. In general i had a good sleep there. The restaurant of... More

Our third trip to this destination. Hotel Braurup offers great fishing waters with seemingly endless fishing opportunities at very fair rates. Especially if your entire trip doesn't revolve around fishing, other activities such as hiking, golfing and not to mention the great local cuisine offer a good compromise to bring non-fishing guest along on the ride. I do recommend it... More

A troutfishers paradise! This hotel owns over 500 kms of rivers and lakes in the vicinity. They have been established over 150 years so I guess they know what they are doing. There is a tackle shop on the premises and guides can be hired for a full or half day. We opted for just one day guiding so we... More

We were too tired, when we drove past by this hotel. We didn't thought too much, as this hotel has a big restaurant and its own brewery. Located in the center of the town, might be a little too noisy on the rooms close to the main streets. We got a room in the back of the building, with the... More

The old and venerable Hotel Bräurup is located in the center of Mittersill on a main road. My wife and I booked for a week for fly fishing. The room was modernized and the stay pleasant. However, the hotel inside showed traces of use, some scuffs here and there. Breakfast was plentiful, as was the dinner. Here, the sequence of... More

The owners of this hotel also have rights to many acres of prime fishing. Fishing is why we came; if trout are your thing, this is heaven. Antique lures and flytying desk in lobby. Pro shop with all your needs and good advice. The staff is friendly. The option to have half board means no searching for food in the... More

Ideal summer and/or winter location, the former for walkers; the latter for skiers. The Braurup is friendly, warm and comfortable with staff ever eager to please. The brewery on the premises is an added bonus.

This year we decided to take our Christmas on a coach holiday, and being in Austria late in August, decided to return to another location again in Austria. We travelled from the south coast of the UK by coach and arrived at this hotel late in the afternoon after a one night's stop in France. The hotel were waiting for... More
