Situated a the top of Ryokan district. It is a grant ryokan equipped all it should have. The crew is nice, polite and sociable. The dishes of full course dinner and breakfast will fill up one's whole stomach space. Don't missing enjoy the onsen especially in the morning to see the sun ray rollover from top to bottom of the...

The hotel has a good onsen facility. It has both an indoor and outdoor onsen. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The downside of the hotel is that the hotel can be very busy as there are many tours using the hotel. The dinner buffet can be better. Lots of the food are quite dry.

The room is clean & comfortable. It is fairly spacious with 1 side that has 2 single beds, and another side, which is like a small living area, which has a low table and low chairs, and you can watch TV and make tea here. The onsen has both an outdoor and an indoor section. The restaurant has good sitting...

Stayed one night ( Thank God ) to see the area. Check in at 4pm was a bit slow and the staff did not offer any info regarding the hotel or attractions in the area. Found out later there was a fireworks display at 830pm when I noticed a large crowd gathering by the lobby window. As mentioned by some...

We checked there late in a rainy afternoon. There were many trolley carts for us to serve ourselves. We stayed there in a big dual western and tatami style room which is very un-proportionate to the tiny cruise-cabin-size bathroom which, even as a thin guy, I bumped myself here and there many times. The western beds are worn off with...

We stayed in this hotel as part of the ANA Fly and Drive Package. It was an awful experience. We had to carry our luggage to the rooms and from entering it, it was extremely filthy. There were toothpicks on the floor of the previous guests. Gross! Our cups from the toilet were covered in a sticky yellow liquid with...

The room I had was half western and half traditional tatami. The western beds were not comfy, mattresses a bit springy, as I found most western beds in the hotels in Hokkaido. The bathroom was tiny, and was built like a ship's cabin bathroom. But I guess this is Japan and a lot of things are shrunk in size. Their...

It's a bit far but our package included a return bus ride from Sapporo and tickets to the Asahikawa Zoo. So it was quite a deal. We stayed there for three days two night including breakfast and dinner buffet styles. Also, it has free shuttle bus to the other Choytei Resort Hotel nearby to dine there or use their onzen....

There is suttle bus services to a group hotel so you can enjoy both onsen. Buffet serive is quite nice, both breakfast and dinner have wide variety, including seasonal vegetables and some seafoods.Surrounding natural enviroment is also beautiful, walk around the area, and other places of interests like waterfalls are 10 minutes drive away.

If you travel bus to the hotel, there is a long way (around 15 minutes by walk) from the bus stop to the hotel and it is quite sloping. It is inconvenient if you have lugguage. If you travel the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel, you will...
