We planned to stay in the hotel 5 nights on the ski trip to Hakuba in February 2016, but because of warm weather and bad snow we moved on in one day. The owners refunded us the purchased lift tickets. I'm sure that they didn't lose money on that, but it was a very nice gesture, they could have easily... More

We stayed here in February 2016. We were two families (4 adults and 4 children under the age of 4). My husband and I stayed on the ground floor in a twin room with our two children in portacots. The hotel was basic (although very clean) and the hospitality was superb! The staff picked all of us up at the... More

This hotel has an awesome location just a short walk to lifts, an even shorter walk to restaurants and bars. They have buses that go to the lifts as well as onsens at night which are much needed after a day on the snow. The staff are kind and happy to help out if there is a problem.

The good things about this hotel are that it's convenient to the slopes (a short drive or shuttle ride) and has a good breakfast that's included in the price. You can also buy discounted lift tickets at the front desk which is nice. Our room was basic and clean, but not particularly nice. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with... More

Staff are very lovely and really helpful for our stay. Great location if you love the Goryu mountain, it's about a five minute walk to the escal plaza, witch is the main ski base for the mountain. The rooms are quite small, however very clean and quiet. I would recommend it, I would come again 👌🏼

The hotel is located in a small village, 600 metres from Escal Plaza where Hakuba Goryu ski slope is. Our family of 4 stayed in a Japanese-style room. Cooked breakfast is included in the price, and you can buy dinner there too. Many restaurants are within walking distance, and reasonably priced - our favourites were the bar over the road... More

We booked this place last minute for our ski trip. We were lucky to find suck a nice place, in short notice. This is a classic Japanese Ryokan very close to the main ski resort in Goryu. We stayed in a family room, which is basically a large tatami room. There is enough space for a family or a group... More

The staff are so welcoming! They picked us up from the airport, gave us a complete briefing of the Goryu area as well as the ski slopes near by. Our room was Japanese style with futons, it's something you do not for the comfort but for the experience. Breakfast is included in the package, served between 7 and 8. Dry... More

First of all the service, it was superb!! Free shuttle to Goruya Resort which was in a short 5 mins drive and our breakfast that was included in a package was very much appreciated. Their restaurant serves lovely traditional meals every night at ¥800 each on average, no need to travel. Kids had been so tired after a long day... More

The hotel is located near the Goryu ski area, about a 10-15min uphill walk to Escal Plaza where you can get your ski rentals & stuff. Very beautiful surroundings especially in the wi nter snow. Hotel itself is quite basic and clean albeit a little old looking. The onsen is also very basic i.e. a small room with a tub... More
