Our stay here was made all the better because the lodge is owned by a long term local family who are fabulous hosts and love sharing their knowledge with guests. Make sure to book dinner at least once during your stay the food is fantastic...More

Stayed with a group of friends for a ski trip, would definitely recommend the japanese tatami style rooms - great experience amd very warm/comfortable (western bedrooms also available though if desired). We stayed for 10 days at Aitoku Lodge (arranged via Nozawa Holidays). We were welcomed by "Mr Nice Guy" who lives up to his name. His English is good and he likes to chat with the guests and he and his wife are very hospitable....More

We were a party of 6, staying in Tatami rooms. It was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and quickly became "home". Mr Nice Guy is a charming host and breakfasts are generous. Many Aussies staying here and not surprisingly it was booked out.
