Seiranso was established over 80 years ago. The Senkyo (enchanted land) outdoor bath next to the 38-meter Hakuryu Falls has been a favorite of Japanese literati since olden times. The dramatic views and hot spring water quality were long beloved. Seiranso is in the mountains of the Kanagawa Prefectural Oku-Yugawara Nature Park. It has a strong tinge of Showa Era nostalgia.

We just spent two night here and could not Fault it! A true Japanese experience of staying in a ryokan. Note that this is a very old building and is a bit dated - but we felt that added to the overall Experience. The staff don't speak much English, but we managed to Get by just
