Welcome was enthusiastic in to a hotel with tatami mats on most floors allowing us to walk barefoot comfortably between baths and rooms. The rooms were furnished tastefully and in a classic Japanese style, they felt warm and offered a choice of beds or futon, we chose futon which was a different but welcome experience. The baths were quaint but...

We stayed at Gyokusuikan this July, and had a very pleasant experience there. The hotel is conveniently located near the Izu-Atagawa station, and convenience stores are within walking distance. The hotel offers us a really authentic Japanese ryokan experience, with its extremely personal and warm service from friendly and helpful staff, and a great room with private hot spring tub....

I stayed this hotel with my family at standard room. This room is equipped with a kind of outdoor bath with hot springs which is good for those don't like use big public bath. And they serve really fresh seafood and tastes so delicious. Only one negative thing is that room is really cold even we keep AC on when...
