One of the favorite places that we stopped at and stayed.Only 10 minutes walk from the railway station. We booked one of the slightly larger rooms that had an extension by the window, this gave a balcony effect and with chairs and a little table, an area where we could sit without squatting. It also served as storage for the...

We have just arrived and check in this hotel 28 Nov 2015. It is in the center of the town and shopping street. Free parking space for the one who drive by themselves. You can book the room with half board which mean included dinner and breakfast.

Great location in the middle of the historical district only 15 min walk from the train station. The staff were very nice and professional. The modern ryokan has all the amenities, even free massage chairs. The breakfast was Japanese with beautiful dishes of healthy foods. The room was pretty spacious and clean. Nice view of the mountains. The town is...

A colleague and I ended up in the west of Japan on a Friday, and took a stab in the guidebook as to where we should visit before returning to Tokyo. Tsuwano came up trumps. And the Yoshinoya seemed the place to stay. And it was awesome. Arriving in the evening, the Yoshinoya staff were extremely welcoming, despite their scant...

Tsuwano is slightly off the western tourist track. The shrine, red tori and castle are overrated and so I understand why people skip this town, however the ryokan and restaurants here are really authentic as they are aimed solely at Japanese tourists. We loved this ryokan as it was not gimmicky at all. The rooms were large, clean and as...

I was in Tsuwano not too long ago. As it's more of hidden gem than mainstream city, the hotels are more cattered to the japanese. I took this opportunity to stay at a Ryokan, a traditional Japanese Inn. Let me tell you my experience: The ryokan is located five minutes from the station, on the same street as the town's...

We were pleasantly surprised when we were met at the station From our late train and taken to the Ryokan by mini van. We were kindly greeted and checked into a comfortable room. The evening meal and breakfast for two nights were very good. Our only suggestion is that the room looked like it could do with a freshen up...

The Ryokan is about 10 mins short walk from the station set on a quiet street running parallel to the main traffic street. The rooms are Japanese style with tatami mat floors and futon sleeping which they make up for you in the evening. Though they may also have a few western style rooms. Yukata gowns are supplied to ware...
