We were greeted from the street by two older Japanese ladies who led us to the inn, which is up at the very end of an atmospheric alleyway path (well-lit with other establishments around). The staff do not really speak English, but the owner can understand a little bit, and they were all extremely welcoming. The food was incredible - both dinner and breakfast stuffed me and had so much variety! I'd never had a meal where the entire table was covered in different dishes - I honestly had no idea where to start eating! They serve 'basashi', which is the local specialty (raw horse meat), so if you absolutely do not want to try this make sure you know which it is so you can avoid it. However, it was surprisingly delicious, so if you are feeling adventurous and want to experience the local cuisine, try it out!
