For a room that costed more than an iPhone per night, I expected the staff to speak English and carry my bags to the room, the carpet to be clean, the wifi to work everywhere in the room, and the whole establishment to be kept to a higher standard. Instead, we got an ambitiously built but poorly maintained rundown resort... More

Exotic atmosphere and beautiful garden with colorful flowers make us feel like being in a place in Europe. The pool was great with wave to enjoy with kids. But, we don't have an option to choose restaurant to choose, so we went out for dinner every night. It was good, anyway. Breakfast was good with good foods. All streets were... More

Stayed just one night on June with my family for refreshing. The hotel location is convenient, very close to the exit of Chuo highway. We enjoyed indoor pool, mini-bicycle lesson activity for kids and some shops alongside the main street in the resort. All of the hotel staffs were well trained and polite, so we could have comfortable time. If... More

I suppose the situation here is I received the lowest category room possible, but my room looked like it was from "The Shining." Badly in need of updating all the way around. They also said the YY restaurant was fully booked for dinner and when I passed by the place was half empty at 8:00pm. All of the staff I... More

It is a hotel surrounded by forests. Your heart feels at ease in nature. There is a marriage ceremony hall near the hotel, and lovers can spend time there when the lovers is special. For a place to make an important memory,it is a very suitable spot.

Very nice resort nestled in the beautiful forest in Hokuto-City. You will feel the difference in temperature and can smell the freshness of the forest. Kobuchisawa is a beautiful little town if you want to experience the laid-back side of Japan. I would recommend selecting a plan with breakfast buffet at YY Grill. They use mostly local and organic vegetables... More

Hokuto is a place which is very beautiful and surrounded by some of the most accessible nature in the Kanto area of Japan. Great views of the surrounding Southern Alps and Mt Fuji can be seen on clear days. Very beautiful location with great views and comfortable rooms. And the small shopping mall inside the hotel is surprisingly interesting. Great for a getaway from the city.

I often visit Hokuto City of Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan, especially foot of the Mt. Yatsugatake and I usually stay at Resonare which is one of the largest resort hotels in that area.
