From the moment we met Steve at our meeting point we felt welcomed. We were tired from several strenuous days of travel in Costa Rica and were to fly out the next day. We felt immediately the relaxed atmosphere of Casa Bella Rita. Rita fixed us drinks and a snack, then offered to pick up take-out for lunch which was...

I traveled to Costa Rica with a friend of mine last month-two of us young girls in our late twenties looking for a warm and relaxing escape from work and snow. Well let me tell you-Casa Bella Rita was the best decision we made on this vacation! From the second we arrived, Steve whisked us away to their tropical paradise...

We only got to stay one night at Casa Bellarita but we all wished we had time to stay longer. When we return, even though it is a bit of splurge, we will definitely stay with Rita and Steve for a couple of nights. Their exceptionally beautiful house looks over an undeveloped ravine and is full of light, music and...

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Costa Rica with our two children ages 6 & 8. We stayed at Casa Bella Rita on our night of arrival and on the night before departure from San Jose Int'l. Casa Bella Rita was perfect in every way. It was so nice to be picked up by Steve at the...

Rita and Steve were great hosts during our short, 2 night stay at Casa Bella Rita. We stayed here at the end of our holiday as a base for exploring San Jose for a day before flying home. They are located about 10 minute drive from the airport and 20-30 minutes from downtown San Jose (depending on traffic). The rooms...

Rita and Steve have created a special paradise in Costa Rica. We stayed there for a night before our cycling trip and a night after. The special touch is evident everywhere, in every corner of the villa. Our guestroom (we stayed in two different ones) was very comfortably appointed with robes, very comfortable beds, beautiful furniture, fresh flowers, room scents....

Steve and Rita are fabulous hosts and Casa Bella Rita is quite the little oasis. We were only staying for one night before our flight left but Casa Bella Rita would make a fabulous extended stay location as well. I would highly recommend staying here for both the atmosphere and the hospitality!

Casa Bella Rita was like an oasis away from home. The rooms are very nicely decorated, the beds incredibly comfortable, and our hosts Steve and Rita couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They gave us great recommendations for dining and even called the cab for us. One night we dined with them and were treated to a delicious meal...

We stayed with Steve and Rita on our first and last nights in Costa Rica. Before even arriving, we were impressed with the promptness of communication with Rita. We often received email replies from Rita within an hour of inquiry. Steve picked us up at the airport standing at the very exact spot described in her emails. It was like...
