This is an incredible small,Relais & Chateaux, hotel. Situated in the middle of a large vineyard. With only large 15 suites, fantastic restaurant, pool, and sauna. Our suite had everything for a romantic getaway, indoor and outdoor shower, fireplace, spa tub, large living area. Yes it is "pricey " but worth it. The staff are very helpful as well!!

Others have described the rooms, which are great.....particularly enjoyed the outside shower. Dinner was excellent. The people were delightful. We had a problem with the tv which was quickly fixed. Breakfast, continental and included, served in your room, is perhaps the weakest point. A lovely place for a couple of relaxing days.

This is the second time we have stayed here, last time was 5/6 years ago. The place hasn't changed too much, except they have a new area that houses, a gym, sauna, self service laundry and wonderful pool area. The laundry is all complimentary, they provide the powder and power cleansers to remove stains. They do not charge for the...

If you are looking for a perfect break - this is it. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is well positioned overlooking the vineyards and the suites are large and have all the amenities plus lots of really nice touches such as Port in the room, nespresso coffee etc. Cannot recommend enough. Also try...

The Louise is perfectly located in the heart of the Barossa amongst the most famous wineries in Australia including Torbreck and Penfolds. Its a short drive to the nearest town if you feel the need. The hotel is outstanding with an almost perfect combination of service, rooms and views. I found the hotel restaurant, Appellation, to be very good without...

Although it was only for 2 nights, our experience made it feel like we had been away much longer. From our chauffeur pick -up at the airport and our return 2 days later, we were made to feel so welcome. Our suite was just delightful as were all the staff. Dinner in the appellation restaurant on our first night was...

My husband and I recently stayed at The Louise for two nights during our visit to the Barossa Valley. The accommodations were excellent with a spacious room complete with large living room, beautiful views of the vineyards and relaxing rain shower with bathtub. After a busy day of wine tasting, The Louise was a great way to relax and enjoy...

We had a short break at The Louise and were very impressed. The staff, service and facilities were first class. We had a great outlook from our room across the open spaces of the Barossa. There are many small towns and attractions to keep busy for a week and of course many wineries and restaurant. The restaurant at The Louise...

The room is absolutely awesome. We were thinking about leaving early to stay near the airport for our early flight to Tasmania, but one look told us no way. It's definitely worth the early rise. We are looking forward to our dinner at the house restaurant, Appellation. We will review it after dinner.

We had 2 nights at The Louise as a lovely end to a 3 week tour of Australia. The hotel is in a lovely setting and our suite overlooked a vineyard so it was lovely just sitting on the terrace and just taking it all in. Our suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a large bedroom, lounge area,...
