Enjoyed lunch here when in the top of Mount Pilatus. Food is served cafeteria style. Prices are high. For a simple lunch of a bratwurst and fries I paid €18 + €4.70 for a small cup of coffee. The view are spectacular. We dined overlooking the beautiful Alps and lake Lucerne it is immaculately clean and staff spoke good English.

If you are looking for an amazing hotel on top of a mountain, incredible views, a sky full of stars at night and be the only ones there with overnight staff, then book a night or better two at the Hotel Bellevue. At the end of the day, the cog rail and tram stop running, leaving you alone with other... More

The mountain and the walks around are incredable . I have been to many mountaneous areas in France, UK, Italy and Colorado but this s different. The walks are safe , you see elderly people doing them. Views are stunning with the lake down . The hotel rooms are clean, have beautiful views and service is superb. The manager is... More

We stayed one night at The Bellevue on top of Mt. Pilatus, not to be confused with the one at the foot of Mt. Pilatus, called Bellevue Kriens. That night, we were invited, along with other guests, to welcome cocktails at the lobby. And we were happily surprised that our room included dinner as well as breakfast the next day... More

Mount Pilatus was our big splurge for our 12 week holiday. Getting there from Alpnastaad involved the worlds steepest cable car for 4.6km with a max gradient of 48 degrees, which began operating in 1889. Lots of people visit here, but not many stay over night. There's only two small hotels and all the day visitors must leave the mountain... More

Visited this hotel in 1984 and again in 2015 and both times extremely happy with the stay for the amazing views. It takes your breath away being able to stay on the top of Mt Pilatus in a hotel and to wake up and see the sunrise from the top of the walk paths. Hotel accommodation was comfy clean and... More

Right, firstly you need to access the hotel by cable car or cog wheel train, which when we booked through Booking.com didn't inform you of this. The cable car & trains stop running before 5pm which we found out because we arrived after this, but thanks to a very helpful Swiss ticket office lady & Cog train driver we managed to jump... More

The Bellevue self-service café is a good place to stop a drink/snack at the top of Mount Pilatus. I can't say what food is available as they had stopped serving meals when they were there as they were closing soon. Drinks were fine though, particularly the hot chocolate, although they were very expensive. I can't say what the views from... More

We stayed there a few times and despite the fact that this was an older hotel we were very comfortable. Could not help singing songs from the sound of music! Right across from the train station and a local pub, the hotel is ideally located and good food too!

An excellent rating on Tripadvisor even after I went there on a day with lots of clouds surrounding the peak and With no view should go a long way to say that this is the hotel worth visiting. we got some glimpse during and morning and that was enough to take our breath away. Bellevue and the sister hotel Pilatus... More
