In the last 14 years, we have been to Italy up to 4 times a year, on various holidays and city breaks; we are not experts but we have seen a few places. The owners of this hotel gave us the best welcome we have ever had, of anywhere we have ever stayed. On the hotel website, it reads "Hotel... More

Situated on the top of Scilla's old fishing village, this newly renovated hotel has magnificent view over the strict of Messina. Spacious room, comfortable bed and reasonable prices. We were blessed with a four people room even if we were two plus our baby, so we stayed very comfortable even if only for one night. Nicoletta (the owner) was very helpful... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hotel Scilla. We had a cozy room with a great balcony and a wonderful view of the town. Nata and her amazing family made us feel like home! They were so amazing and helpful, we did not want to leave.

Hotel very nice, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Told us of open restaurant recommendations and how to navigate the town both walking and driving. The owner drew us a simple map to museum of bronzes in Reggie Calabria that included where to park and also an excellent gelateria nearby. He also drew us a map of mountain road... More

We stayed at Hotel Scilla for a week in August whilst attending a friends wedding. Had never visited Scilla before so didn't know what to expect. However, the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, in particular Nata the owner and her family. Nothing was too much trouble and we always had a nice welcome to breakfast in... Very well located. Close to centre and easy walking distance Staff very friendly and most helpful. The room we stayed in was small but nice and clean. Had a balcony ...only problem, bed was a little on the hard side. Breakfast was good with host providing fresh local produce and freshly made pastry. Price was good and would recommend

The hotel is located in the old part of town up the hill from the beach. This is a much prettier and more interesting area to wander around in than... More
