Brousse le Chateau is a stunning village to visit but even more so if you stop over at this charming Logis which was recommended to us by friends. Rooms are fairly basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable - we even had a view of the chateau - excellent value too. However the food is the main reason to visit -...

We stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a walking holiday. The hotel is right in the middle of the lovely village surrounded by the castle walls (well worth a walk around too). Our room was a good size and clean. The food was local cuisine and was lovely. The dining room was busy but possibly because...

This is a fantastic little village with a very early mediaeval castle and church perched on the rock outcrop between the Tarn River an a small tributary. Le Relays du Chasteau is now the only hotel to stay in the village. It faces the castle and has a small terrace overlooking the tributary river across a quiet road. We stayed...

We have stayed here several times over the years, most recently in mid September. Always very busy (deservedly) given that it's in a remote village next to the Tarn. We had a small but comfortable room looking on to the Chateau. Meals were excellent, with wine in carafe, and very good value.

We didn’t actually stay here because we rented a gite in this beautiful village. However, we ate dinner here on several occasions. Good food, friendly service and a superb location. We’d certainly recommend Brousse and the Relays. There are no shops in the village, but the hotel supplied us with fresh bread and croissants for breakfast each day. Good walking...

This is a delightful Logis de France in a beautiful village, serving excellent local cuisine. Rooms are clean and perfectly adequate, though not luxurious. Definitely not to be missed, and well worth a detour to find it.

This is our second visit to the village - a real beauty tucked away in the mountains, probably one of the most prettiest places I have ever been too. We have eaten at the restaurant several times and not disappointed. The food is exceptionally well cooked and a must for those wanting real local French food! There are two or...

Brousse-le-Chateau is a beautiful village and the hotel is in the centre with views of the river and chateau. This is a traditional style logis. The room was smallish, in good state of decoration and clean. The bedding was blanket and sheets, duvets don't seem to have arrived yet in these type of hotels. The soundproofing is not good but...

If Brousse was more accessible this place would be overrun, but that's the joy of rural France! Amazing setting in the heart of this stunning village, I opened my windows to a scene that has probably changed little in hundreds of years. Free and reliable Wi-Fi makes it easy to keep in touch with the wider world if you have...

“Select the apartment. It usually is E350 for 7 days, but if available you may (up to the owner) be able to have the apartment for a shorter period at a daily rate a bit higher than the daily average. We did see the rooms and these are also very clean, serviceable and good value. I think all rooms face the little 16th century bridge, the castle and brook but ask for one anyway.”
