The four of us (two adult couples) spent two nights in this charming establishment. The rooms clean and comfy and the decor could have come from a home styling publication. Breakfast was large, filling and very good. The strawberries tasted as if they had just been plucked off the vines and the eggs cooked to order. Mike and June are... More

Stayed here on a couple of occasions - once in a large room, and latterly in a very small one. Both were perfectly acceptable and furnished in an eclectic/traditional style. The big attraction is the cost - I usually stay in Brechin when working in Aberdeen - it's worth the 45 minute drive to save on the room. Breakfast is... More

We spent two nights in Brechin at Liscara. The location is good, the house is quaint and June and Mike are excellent hosts. Breakfast was superb! Room was big for the three of us and very cosy after such cold weather! We loved our stay at Liscara.

Very comfortable bed with ensuite shower and loo. wiFi and TV in your room. Beautifully cooked choice of Scottish breakfasts (fry up or Arbroath smokie or kippers, or just porridge or cereals) Delightful hosts Mike... More

Went to a dance at Brechin on New Year's Eve. Managed to acquire a single room at the Liscara Bed and breakfast guest house as I didn't fancy driving home at that time of night. Never been to Brechin before as it is bypassed by the A90 to Aberdeen and has never been on my radar. Ordinary looking building from... More
