From the moment that you're welcomed through the door, you know that this is special. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed, and have outstanding views across the valley, making the ascent of the 2nd staircase very worthwhile! Kath and Doug go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable, and their local knowledge is invaluable. Breakfasts...

St. John's House B&B is ideally situated for exploring this area and because of the good transport links, a car is not absolutely necessary. We have just returned from another relaxing break at St. John's House. As always our hosts were welcoming and friendly, the accomodation was immaculate and the locally sourced food was plentiful and delicious. All this and...

We have stayed in many B&Bs around Britain over the years, and this certainly ranks up there with the best of them. The owners were friendly and helpful, the room extremely spacious, comfortable and with a fantastic view - and the breakfast of real quality. If you are looking for a peaceful, good value and high quality place to stay...

My husband and I have just had a lovely 3 night break at St John's House in Cononley .On arrival we were welcomed by Kath and shown to our huge tastefully decorated room and very up to date bathroom. We had great views overlooking the village and further afield to the countryside around Skipton. The village has two friendly pubs...

We found outstanding quality accommodation on offer at St John's House during a recent weekend family stay. The accommodation was first class and we were impressed by the level of presentation and cleanliness. Nothing was too much trouble for owners Kath and Doug especially the tasty traditional breakfast served by the very charming Kath. The children were very well catered...

I stayed at this B&B because of a two weeks internship in Cross Hills and soon felt more on a holiday than at work, because of the lovely time I had at St John's. The house used to be the old vicarage and has been redecorated with all modern comfort and in style, keeping the old elements of the house....
