We booked an overnight stay at Throstle nest as last minute. We were offered the family room. On arrival the views are great. The b & b is about 5 minutes drive from Skipton centre. Steep driveway to the b & b. Paula checked us in and showed us our room. Room was lovely and quite big but only had...

Excellent little b&b tucked away in the peace and quiet with great views. Rooms lovely and fresh cakes left each day to have with a cuppa. Breakfast was gorgeous and all good quality produce. We were made very welcome

Had a lovely couple of days at this bed and breakfast. Came here to visit the Dickensian Christmas market in Grassington and also Skipton itself. Accommodation extremely clean. Bed very comfortable and great pillows, which is usually an issue with me. Breakfast lovely and hosts extremely friendly and informative. The house is a family run business and very warm and...

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Throstle Nest Farm and we couldn't rate it highly enough. We were given the only ground floor room with a view across the valley to Skipton. The room was warm, comfortable and spacious with, surprisingly, three chairs! In many places you can consider yourself lucky to get one. A particularly nice...

We stayed here as a family with a 9 year old for two nights. Firstly, great location for visiting Skipton, Ilkley, Brimham Rocks, Mother Shipton's Cave at Knaresborough and Bolton Abbey. More importantly though, what a wonderful find this B&B was. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We arrived at about 5pm and were very much welcomed and shown to our...

We were a group of 8 friends (4 couples) and had booked Throstle Nest because there were 4 double rooms. The bedrooms were very comfortable with the nice touch of home made cakes left on the tea tray every day, and wine glasses for our use. Only criticism is that although the bathroom was modern and the shower was powerful,...

Located very close to Skipton with a stunning view, this charming B&B rates as 'best in class'. Generous sized rooms fitted out with everything a traveller would expect in a quality establishment (nothong spared). Breakfast is excellent with generous servings also catering for vegetarians. A comfortable sitting room is also available for guests. Excellent WIFI service. Very friendly and hospitable...

The owners could not be more friendly. There were eight of us who can get a bit boisterous, but nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfasts were first quality and freshly done. The views from the property are amazing. It is quite a walk to the nearest pub, so suggest driving or taxi, dangerous country road as well. Would...

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Very quiet and peaceful with friendly owners. Many nice, personal touches. A lovely, spacious bathroom. The drive down is very steep but it does mean that there are nice views. Breakfast was very pleasant with panoramic views over the valley. Parking a bit tight if all rooms are occupied.

Farmhouse transformed into a modern interior with a well designed layout. Beautiful location, with great views (see photo) and close enough to Skipton. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great breakfast! Would recommend without hesitation.
