Lovely b&b, nice peaceful location, area is very beautiful. Lovely, very clean room with views from 3 windows. Excellent choice for breakfast and very well cooked. Couldn't fault this place, would recommend this to anyone and will stay again.
Stayed here with friends for a couple of nights as part of our 500 tour. Yes it's a bit of the beaten track but the rooms are fantastic . nice views an the owner very friendly and helpful. He also serves up a very good breakfast which we all thoroughly enjoyed on both mornings. He was also happy that we could pick up take away food from the localish hotel and eat (and drink !) in the seated landing area on the first floor near our room.
A spur of the moment decision + a late phone call (21.40 hrs) booked us a room (more like a Studio Apartment) my wife & I arrived about 11.00 hrs just to make sure that we were expected (& yes we were.) We toured around the area (some good, some bad) & arrived back at approx 18.00hrs. The room was warm & welcoming as was our host. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, porridge like I've never tasted + a cooked Scottish Breakfast cooked to perfection with as MUCH toast as we wanted. My wife enjoyed her scrambled egg with a layer of smoked salmon over it. If ever we were in the area again "The Love Croft Guest House," would be our one & only port of call.
biggest bed on our 2 week long trip to Scotland - all very comfortable. our hostess had to leave on a family emergency and the coverage was just as welcoming. rhubarb still being harvested in September - sheep everywhere (well it is northern Scotland) - a lovely place to stay
Booked in here for one night Room and service were excellent Enjoyed stay Only fault was the Breakfast whilst very nice had measured quanitities, you can't get 5 stars when only providing one slice of toast with breakfast Reality is its worth 4 1/2 stars but I cant rate it that way Would definitely stay again
