Claire and Ray, apologies that it has taken so long to add to the glowing tributes to Casa San Ruffino, but I read and re read the fantastic comments and tried to think of something that hasn't already been said about a wonderfully hospitable couple and their beautifully renovated home. I can only reiterate what has been said. The rooms...

Ray and Claire made and make Casa San Ruffino. The whole place has been very tastefully refurbished (these guys have a nice idea of class/style). I spent most of the stay wondering how the floor tiles would translate in Uk i.e. could we get underfloor heating to work with them. The fixtures and fittings are all v nice quality, bed...

1. Recommendations. Claire and Ray gave recommendations every evening for restaurants (and pre booked a table for us every night). Every restaurant was great and catered to how picky we were being; cheap pizzas, romantic and adventurous, vegetarian specialists (it exists!). 2. Amazing locations and rooms. Air conditioned and beautifully furnished rooms. Floor length windows which could be covered against...

We stayed for nine amazing days at Casa San Ruffino and loved every second! It was absolute perfection and and in a truly idyllic location. The B & B itself is simply stunning with views across the Marche countryside which you can see right out of your bedroom window. The pool is very peaceful and we spent most of our...

We've recently returned from our first visit to Le Marche staying 7 nights at the superb Casa San Ruffino. We can't recommend it highly enough! Our room was perfect with a very comfy bed, each room has it's own front door with a table and chairs and sun shade just outside plus sun loungers and umbrella poolside. The gardens are...

We recently spent 8 nights at the idyllic Casa San Ruffino. Firstly, I would like to say just how lovely, warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating Claire and Ray (the owners) are. They made us feel totally at ease in their beautiful home and were delightful from the moment we arrived. We were encouraged to feel at home and allowed to...

Casa San Ruffino is a wonderful hideaway in the wonderful italian region of Le Marche. Only 4 rooms (spacious and very nice furnished) give you plenty of quiet and space in this rustic but beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Pool is equipped for the max of 8 guests. Everyone has a deck chair and a sunshade. Pool itself is very nice...

Stayed for two nights in this excellent B&B to get a first impression of Le Marche. Ray and Claire is a British couple who have renovated and old Italian farmhouse and filled in with light and air and space. Being Norwegian and a lover of both Italy and Britain this mixture was perfect for us. The location is superb with...

To borrow the phrase our host Claire used in an entirely different context. But it rather perfectly describes Casa San Ruffino. Claire and Ray are very warm, gracious, knowledgeable and great to talk to. Their lack of pretension shows in the minimalism done to perfection that is their Casa. And the view... If nothing mentioned before moves you trust us...the...

We have just returned from a truly wonderful 4 night holiday in Marche-even with rubbish weather! I absolutely loved it here the moment we arrived at Casa San Ruffino. We received a very warm, welcome from Ray on arrival of the b&b followed by a very much needed cup of coffee from Claire which, as well as the amazing views...
