The adventure began with a 2 and 3/4 hour flight from Reykjavik to Narsarsuaq aboard a DeHavilland prop plane, a comfortable and beautiful ride. Upon landing, everything had been efficiently arranged by Agathe and Kalista. At the small airports, smaller tourist office, we picked up fishing licenses, and the Were to a dock, ferried across the fjord to qassiarsuk, where we...

Agathe, Kalista and Ina has been so welcoming. Agathe organised a nice trip in South Greenland. She is using the Greenlandic plants and products very well, and her cuisine will initiate...

Ipiutaq Guest farm is blessed by its beautiful location a short boat ride from Narsarsuaq. Here, in extraordinary and as yet unspoilt surroundings, you will find a wonderful and very warm welcome. But it is much more than just the location which makes Ipiutaq such a special place. The guest house at the farm is a wonderful warm, clean, and...

In an epic family journey highlighting ten-days of hiking, kayaking, ice climbing and more, our afternoon and dinner at Ipiutaq farm presented a one-of-a-kind example of life in this forbidden land. Breathtaking beauty in a landscape that offers few creature comforts. What struck our eyes were the achievements made by these pioneers. They tamed the untamable. Agathe, our French born...

Ipiutaq is the sweetest end of the world. You'll be thrilled by the surrealistic surroundings and the warmth of the hospitality. Everythning from the food to the host, their home and their fellow animals, is both delicat and generous. You wouldn't expect such sweetness in this stony landscape, subjected to typical greenlandic moody weather.
