Just returned from a wonderful relaxing two week stay in Le Romarin. Was rather worried in that there had been a change of owners during the Spring, and not many comments had been posted since. However Caroline, Peet and Merel are brilliant hosts, and made us really welcome. We thoroughly recommend the Sunday barbecues which were delicious (excellent cheap wine... More

This was our first visit to this region of France, and therefore our first stay at Bigno Garrigo. Our hosts Jason and Ellen were extremely warm and welcoming, and offered great advice about the best beaches, places to eat, things to do and see... They hosted a welcome barbecue on our second night, with delicious food and relaxing company. They... More

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Bigno Garrigo - our first stay at this outstanding accommodation and our first holiday in this lovely region. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped, with a wonderful view from our terrace. Ellen and Jason, our hosts, were exceptional and certainly made us feel very welcome and were always on hand... More

We have just returned from a week staying at Bigno Garrigo discovering the Languedoc region - it was magical. Jason and Ellen were the perfect hosts - answering all questions about local attractions/markets/restaurants/river bathing/beaches etc. We also joined them and the other guests for a relaxing and delicious table d'hote meal one evening and a barbecue on another. Our apartment... More

The Languedoc is a wonderful area to explore and the lovely Canal du Midi is very close by as also are some truly good restaurants. Bigno Garrigo is surrounded by vineyards and is picturesque, quiet and relaxing. This was my second visit. Found Domaine Bigno by default as Gites de France website only allows booking access if you want Saturday to Saturday...we needed Sunday to Sunday and they re-arranged things for us and provided endless moral support and supplies of cheap wine during a stressful week house hunting! Even arranged additional nights for us locally as had to extend stay. Quiet/comfortable appartment... More

We stayed at this domaine for a week during the summer half term school holidays, had a fantastic time, and have already booked to go back. The location is ideal - halfway between the beach and the mountains of the Haut Languedoc, so there was plenty of variety of things to see and do. Our children loved playing in the... More

After not being back for two years and with new hosts we were relieved after only five minutes to feel at home again. Jason and Ellen made us feel very welcome and quickly arranged any request we made. Definitely will be back again for a longer stay as soon as possible.

Having been to Provence for the last 2 years decided to try a different and slightly cheaper location in Southern France. Brilliant!! They are knowledgeable about the local area, enthusiastic, always prepared to have a friendly chat and... More
