There are actually three different things that I want to review here: S.E.A.S (the environmental arm of scuba junkie), scuba junkie (the dive centre and operstions) and their resort on Mabul. Since there are no dedicated pages for the first two categories, I'll just review them together with mabul beach resort. I did a reef check course led by their...

The only reason to be here is diving. Everything is related to diving and sea life - and it is is well organized, thoughtful, with very high environmental awareness. After your dives are finished the day is over - you can have a quiet beer at the bar upstairs of the main building and maybe have a look at sunset,...

We did a 2D/1N night snorkelling trip with Scuba Junkie. We would have booked for longer but the 3D/2N package didn't incude any further snorkel trips, just another day on the island. We paid 514 MYR (£95) for two people which we found to be very good value! We spent one day snorkelling around Kapalai and another day snorkelling around...

We booked our four day dive adventure from Kota Kinabalu and were very lucky to have included a day with four dives around Sipidan (normally you need to book far in advance for this due to the restrictions) so thanks guys for making that happen for us! The other dives around Mabul were also awesome, we did our first night...

... and maybe the world? Scuba Junkies is incredible. All the staff are exceptional - the guides are all super knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun, and professional. They are great at spotting the wildlife, always learn your name, and check on you constantly throughout the dives. They go through your log book with you after each dive (if you want them to)...

The resort is amazing, clean, great food, nice atmosphere,.. everything you want! The dive masters are really skilled and know what they're talking about! I felt really safe and cared for since it was a while since my last dive.

I didn't plan to stay here but I ended up here for one night on 23 October recently as I was very disappointed with the lodge I stayed on the other side of Mabul island. This resort is one of the few on the island that has got beach front. Most of the resorts on the island especially on the...

Nice experience with ScubaJunkie. DM are so nice. Even though Mabul is not a good place to dive- polluted water you can see garbage over the water. Visibility was not good- max. 5 M. But our DM ,Cat, tried her best to find small things for us. Like the Bubble Coral Shrimp! She is a very responsible DM! Their beach...
