5 days with good friends to dive with but no acknowledgements from the office staff in Mabul.it always very clear and nice replies of questions about the island in their e mail. But when you get there, the office will only give you answer that is only acceptable to them. Giving you the look that makes you feel stupid asking...

I came to Mabul Beach Resort for a four day, five night dive vacation. Overall a great experience. This is the only "western owned" hotel/dive operation of those that service Sipadan (I was told). Highly recommend an AC room. It gets SUPER hot at night even. The food is served buffet style. It is good, very carb heavy. There is...

The Scuba Junkie Mabul Resort is the best place to stay if you're coming to Mabul (and the other islands) for diving. You could stay at Semporna, but it's not a really nice city, and getting to Mabul or the other islands by speed boat takes some time. There are other resorts at Mabul and the surrounding islands, but the...

I headed out here in March with one of my best friends. We had a private room which was perfect. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners are awesome people and it's great that the resort is all inclusive as well (except alcohol). The instructors are great people with awesome personalities and are always up for a laugh. It's a quiet...

Thank you Scuba Junkie for a truly amazing experience! I am a professional diver working in the industry, so my views on professionalism are extremely high. Arriving at the head office on the mainland I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service and friendly atmosphere. It really set the tone for the trip to follow. I had a 10 day...

Flipping awesome 5 days with Scuba Junkies! Everyone was fantastic and the diving was outstanding... turtles, sharks, Jack fish and all the little ones too, plus a turtle hatching. Extra thanks go to Ewan, Dionne, Kat, Ismail, Deano, and Lydia (never underestimate the power of a hair band!). Highly recommend these guys!

The diving provided by Scuba Junkie was exceptional. Everyone was fun, professional and well organized. Diving groups never had more than 3-4 people on a dive. The resort itself is nice also. The en-suite air-con room was basic - no tv, no wifi, and very touchy hot/cold saltwater shower. For being on an island and the price it does the...

Wow a truly magical place. My wife and I travelled to Borneo a few years ago and were looking for somewhere to go snorkelling. We ended up staying with Scuba Junkie on Mabul island. I can not stress enough how great this place is. The first visit we did a discovery dive with Jason. My wife struggled and had a...

I feel so awful leaving a 4-star review for a place I truly enjoyed and would definitely recommend to others, so I'll start with all the amazing things and then explain why it's not (yet) a five-star review. We stayed here for 8 days and did 27 dives and could not have been happier with our dive staff - we...
