We stayed at The Heritage B&B the weekend of 15th Aug 2020. From the moment we made the original call to book to the day we left, the owners Simon and Rosie could not have been more welcoming, helpful and accommodating.

The bedroom was spotlessly clean, of a good size and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, shower and bath gel, shampoo, hairdryer etc.
The breakfast was beautifully cooked with excellent quality sausages, bacon and eggs.

If your looking for a high quality B&B with owners that really care about their customers and go the extra mile, then look no further.

Thank you Rosie and Simon we will definitely be back

We stayed for 3 nights at the Heritage to use it as a base to explore Chesil Beach and the Jurassic coast. We needed longer so will certainly be back! Our room was comfortable, bright and well furnished with a bed and pillows so comfortable that we slept solidly. Breakfast was made with very carefully chosen ingredients (so the bacon tastes of bacon!) and very well cooked. As well as the room we stayed in, there is also a lounge area with tea and coffee for residents and I understand the owners are planning to offer a short winelist in the near future.

And finally, the fact that there is a parking space for each room made travelling very easy with never having to worry about whether there would be a space for us to use or whether we would need to find a roadside parking space.

We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return later this year.

We thoroughly recommend this lovely B&B. The character and location of the building, the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, and the attentiveness of the owners, make this a great choice. The quality of the breakfast is outstanding. Other nice little touches include having fresh milk, and decent quality tea and coffee bags in your room.
I am confident you will love this B&B, which incidentally is also exceptional value for money.

This was our first stay away from home since the start of the COVID Crisis. Simon and Rosie made us feel very welcome on arrival - even though we arrived a couple of hours early! They had gone to great lengths to ensure our safety and put us at ease: our room was spotlessly clean; there was hand sanitiser in every corridor, and everyone was socially distanced and spaced out for breakfast. The warm welcome, helpful advice and attention to detail made this a far from sterile experience.

Simon's breakfasts are amazing - fresh ingredients and some lovely touches like marmalade made by his family. This set us up for the day. Their local knowledge was very helpful - they suggested a few alternatives to visiting Weymouth. We ended up spending some time at West Bexington on their recommendation. The crab sandwiches and half lobster we had at the cafe were superb, some nice walks and a good (not overcrowded) beach.

We have booked to visit again. Thank you Simon and Rosie.

This was an fantastic choice in a quiet village outside the hustle and bustle of Weymouth. Spotless and very comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom. Provided a fan for the very hot nights, which was great. Rosie and Simon were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Small touches like the gorgeous 'White Company' soap, body lotion, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom!! Delicious breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Heritage was everything my wife and I were looking for, so that we could spend a 5 day relaxing break. Parking the car was one of our priorities, as a previous stay at a certain Hotel in Weymouth on the seafront caused us huge problems. No such problems at the Heritage, there appears ample parking for all guests and more. The Heritage is a beautiful stone building that’s been renovated and tastefully decorated throughout, but hasn’t lost any of its charm. The hosts Simon and Rosie are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that you would expect, and more, including a fridge. The room was spotless throughout. The bathroom was extremely nice and modern. The breakfast was to die for, with a wide range to choose from, and the English breakfast was perfectly cooked, and the poached eggs were perfect every time! The fresh fruit cocktail was spot on too! The Heritage represents very good value due to its high level of comfort, quality, and attention to detail. We shall definitely be booking again at the Heritage as it’s one of the very best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed in!
