We needed the perfect place to stay just for one night, and Artichaud fit the bill perfectly. Liliane and Jos are perfect hosts. The food (dinner and breakfast) and accommodations (two rooms, one for parents, one for the kids) were top notch, and the pool was gorgeous. We especially liked the large collection of books!

Had a fantastic time at Artichaud which began with a very warm welcome from Liliane and Jos. Their hospitality was excellent throughout. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower. The food was of high quality and very good value considering the price of dinner included aperitif, wine and coffee. Home made food was a real bonus...

As we love exploring regions on our Bike, we booked the cycling package, which included gps tracks, maps and after a nice trip, we enjoyed relaxing at the pool, to end the day with very well prepared dinners together with other guests and Liliane and Jos.

We had an excellent stay by Liliane & Jos end of July 2013. A warm welcome. We were lucky to stay in the charming room 'Métaphore': a large (2 ad+2chd), nicely furnitured room with a very beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was superb with fresh local products, several homemade jams and the dinner was also superb: healthy Mediterranean cooking with fresh...

Staying with Liliane and Jos was like staying with friends. We went off in the day and came back to have supper with them most evenings. Liliane's cooking was absolutely superb and with local, organic produce and wines- like eating in a Michelin starred restaurant - and the setting, eating outside with the scent of the herbs growing around the...

We stayed here on our way from the Loire to Provence, using Alistair Sawday's website to find it. The Belgian hosts, Liliane and Jos were most welcoming and had lots of great advice re local walks and tourist sites. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms and great food for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended.

Once again we spent a wonderful three days with Liliane & Jos at their delightful farmhouse. Lots of good organic home grown vegs ,locally sourced meat and good Gaillac wine. This year we visited Penne, Bruniquel and Rabestens - all within easy driving distance. Puycelsi is a must see. This is as good as it gets in France.
