We stayed at The Mealhouse and it was lovely. The cottage looked nicer compared with the photos on the website. The farm is surrounded by fields and beautiful countryside. It is in an idyllic location, lovely and peaceful with amazing views. We loved the 15ft trampoline and I snuck away to have a play on it by myself. The tractor ride was the highlight of our stay and enormous fun! Big shout out to farmer Keith who is lovely charismatic chap and Lisa who is warm and friendly. Genuinely nice people who I felt comfortable being around. We fed the lambs, goats, Guinea pigs and collected eggs from the chickens. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Polean Farm has struck the perfect balance of providing very comfortable and clean accommodation with beautiful countryside views whilst feeling like you are staying on a working farm, and hence enjoying a slower pace of life. This, combined with on farm activities like feeding the animals and Farmer Keiths (infamous) tractor rides, and access to the local holiday park (swimming pool, evening entertainment) provides amble activities to keep children occupied whilst not on day trips. We stayed in Little Owls cottage for a week in April 2022 - this is a very spacious cottage with three separate bedrooms and amble entertaining space. Its secluded location on the farm, and 270degree views of uninterrupted countryside views make it a very special place to stay.

We had a lovely short break at Polean Farm The mealhouse cottage was just right for the two of us and our little toddler The weather was kind for the time of year and we were able to enjoy the beautiful country views in front of the cottage But best of all were all the wonderful activities from Famer Keith's brilliant tractor ride and feeding the guinea pigs and goats to Lisa and our first ever pony ride with Noah Thank you for making our stay so much fun Godfrey Family

Spacious accommodation, beautifully presented with modern amenities whilst retaining its charm, character and original features. Logs were provided for the wood burner, the living room was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped for a family stay (including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer). The kids were able to meet and feed some of the farm animals and the property is in a good location for nearby Looe and the use of the complimentary swimming pool, which is just a short drive away. We stayed in Little Owls which also had its own drive which made the property feel private. The only room for improvement is the games room which could use some TLC.

We (family of four..kids aged 5 and 7) stayed here in the February half term. What an amazing place!!! The views from our cottage were stunning, our cottage was gorgeous, very clean, little welcome basket on arrival. No hassles with anything. Our girls loved feeding the animals, having a pony ride with Lisa and not forgetting the famous tractor ride with farmer Keith!- Absolute legend of a man! Thank you to all of you who made our stay so lovely. Will definitely book again

We took our 2 girls (2&9) for a week at the start of November, we all loved it! SO much fun, loads of space for little ones to run around & burn off steam and get mucky 😁 they loved the pony ride they had with Lisa, who was great and very patient & made the girls feel at ease as there were a few nerves! The views were stunning, real cornish countryside right from our window I want to give a special mention to Keith the farmer who made our week with the animal feedings and the awesome tractor rides! What a lovely man, so friendly and great to chat to, he really went out of his way to make sure we all had a great time, it was the most fun any of us have had for as long as I can remember, It was so nice seeing my girls have proper fun, the smiles on their faces was priceless, Thankyou Keith we will 100% be back we all loved it a real farm getaway experience, it's done us all the world of good 💖

From the start of our holiday the cottage rosebud reeked of smoke from previous holiday makers making a fire in the lounge which proved to be a health hazard as ever time we light a fire to keep warm the house filled with dense smoke burning our eyes also having suffered with asthma the fire until fixed should be classed as an health hazard downstairs the heating did nit exist and after reporting the fact the company did not make an effort to fixit no downstairs toilet and upstairs one toilet between four people which constantly refused to flush again we reported this to their office they came four times to fix it but failed every time in the end we left early disappointed as our bodies could not suffer anymore the freezing temperatures and the smoke from a defective fire on arriving home all or clothes had to go through the wash and any electrical equipment had to be cleaned as the smell of wood smoked was so strong it made one choke be prepared if you go wear a gas mask and take mountain winter clothes
