Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lorraine is very welcoming & friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed excellent shower and fluffy towels. Large guest lounge. Fabulous vistas across this working farm. To wake up to the odd cow mooing and no traffic noise was a treat, and the breakfast was good too.

Another lovely stay at Trenake Manor. Lorraine welcomed us with a tray of tea and home made tea bread which was tasty. Especially on such a wet windy and rainy day to have such good hospitality. We had the duck egg blue room bed very comfy and tastefully decorated. Since our last visit the bathroom has been changed into a shower room decor very elegant. Tea tray in room and fresh milk each day. Lorraine has lots knowledge about where to explore and restaurants to eat. Recommend Smugglers Cottage in Looe very olde worlde inside but good excellent. Trenake is a lovely place to stay gardens lovely on a good day. Do try it if u are in the area. Thanks Lorraine

Great short stay here. Lorraine looked after us well, very good breakfasts (shame her sourdough bread ran out!), comfy bed (a little extra space around it would have been the icing on the cake), spacious bathroom, all very peaceful. I'd been hoping to get to see the cows being milked by robot, but didn't find the time.

Such a beautiful place to stay . Lorraine was so welcoming making us a much needed cup of tea on arrival and her breakfast was absolutely delicious. She also makes her own jams and pickles which were beautifully presented and so nice we bought three . The room was lovely, clean and immaculately presented. We loved our night there and plan to return.

Just returned from a great week at Trenake Farm, Lorraine was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble, even guided us back to the farm when we got lost on a diversion!! The farmhouse is beautiful as was our room, comfy beds and huge en-suite :) yummy breakfasts to set you up for the day, including homegrown strawberries! Lots of cows (i love cows so was in my element) and a very interesting tour of the modern milking system, very high tech, very happy cows! A resident horse and dogs too. Just a few miles from Looe and Polperro, had an amazing week with good weather as well and will definitely be returning to Trenake,

I stayed at Trenake Manor Farm recently with the family and was very pleased with the service provided by Lorraine. She was very accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable and pleasurable experience. The rooms were all very clean and well equipped, and the surrounds were beautiful. Overall, it was a lovely weekend away at a location I would highly recommend.

We spent a week here and Lorraine was a perfect host. She explained a lot about the farm and how it is run etc. which everyone found interesting. We stayed in a recently refurbished room with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was very good and included Lorraine's homemade sourdough bread. The farm is very handily located and just a few minutes drive from Looe, Fowey and Polperro and some nice coves. It is also just an hour from Padstow and Port Issac.
