We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2020. We heard about this site as we had stayed on the sister site in Hereford. Booking was simple, the lady we dealt with was very helpful. The site was easy to find & as is was quiet, we checked in early. The pitches for motorhomes are spacious & very neat. We overlooked a lovely large green space edged by static caravans. Facilities here were spotless. From the site we walked down to Talland Bay & along to polperro one day, the next into Looe a beautiful walk through woods & along the river and back along the coastal path to polperro where we met a friend for fish and chips in a pub on the harbour. The location of the site is midway between looe & polperro and just down the road is a small village with shops & a pub - which we didn’t visit. There are local busses if you don’t want to walk - all info available from the office. If you want a peaceful site, or a base to explore this part of Cornwall from I’d recommend this site.…
This park is very well kept with landscaped flower beds and pots. There are a large number of static vans both owned and rented and the field for tourers and tents is spacious. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
Just had a 2 day break camping at this lovely site. Was met at reception and taken to our pitch to camp, lovely stay and so peaceful, nice hot showers and very clean, room where you can wash your dishes etc and small fridge freezer to freeze your blocks for cool boxes definitely stay here again. Wished we could of stayed longer.
This is certainly one of the best kept sites we have stayed at - and we've been to a lot! The grounds are absolutely immaculate - congratulations Kevin and Lisa for all your hard work! The site is mainly devoted to Static Caravans, but there is a good number of touring pitches available on hardstandings and grass. The site is inland from Looe and Polperro, but there is a bus stop just a short walk away to take you to either place in ten minutes. The Jubilee Inn in Pelynt is close by, together with two convenience shops. All in all, a very pleasant stay - we'll be back!
We booked a family break at Trelay Holiday park to meet up with friends in Devon. After a difficult journey down from Scotland we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from the couple who run the caravan park. It was a great location to base ourselves with paddle boarding at Fowey River, Looe harbour on a few miles south and only a 'stones throw' from Adrenaline Quarry. With their sound advice we certainly made the most of our holiday - it really made the difference. The caravan park itself was very clean with beautifully maintained grounds. We couldn't have had a better holiday!! Thank you for a great stay!!
