A large, homey room, but not at all shabby and there is ample public space to relax in. The innkeeper was personable and very helpful with advice. We were walking and the hotel is rather farther from the intersection than we expected. The sidewalk is on the side opposite the hotel. I was assured that they've never yet lost a...

Sodbury House was ideally located for the events that my Wife and I were attending in the area, and we chose it based on other reviews here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, Guy. He's an affable ex-Londoner and he and his Wife do all they can to make your stay comfortable. The room we were in was...

Rang to tell Guy I would be arriving later than expected. I was walking the Cotswold Way, it was a hot day and rucksack far too heavy! Guy realised I was knackered and offered to pick me up. An offer I gratefully accepted. He then promptly arranged for my excess baggage to be picked up and delivered each day to...

Guy and Ellie are your hosts. Nice rooms with double bed but rooms are small. Good heaters when needed. Nice breakfast made to order from 8 but 8.30 on Sunday's only. Knowledgeable host who was helpful with information. This was a comfortable stay and it was only a short walk into town to the Dog Inn hotel which has ok...

This is a good B&B, no frills, functional, clean, neat and tidy. Great bed, good bedding, good curtains, good nights sleep. Super full English. Hosts are attentive, polite, helpful and willing to do pretty much anything to ensure your stay is satisfactory. Some of the decor reflects the age of the property which some may feel is dated, but as...

The Sodbury House Hotel provided everything that we needed on a week time visit to the area. The house is lovely from the outside. The inside is a little tired and dated. Our room was warm and the bed was clean. However the main light fitting was hanging from the ceiling and there were cobwebs around the room and bathroom....

from the outside it looks lovely, a beautifully kept building with enough parking space. Was greeted warmly by Guy. Room was spacious but view was at the side which is a shame. considering the place wasn't full we should have been given a better view room. i don't like to say anything when i'm only staying one night in a...

Stayed for 2 nights in late September for business purposes, the owners are very helpful! Room was of a good standard, clean and the stay was very pleasant in the ideal location for the work trip! Would recommend to anyone looking for B&B in the area as it's great value for money with a friendly feeling. Chipping Sodbury is a...
