It appears hat there isn't much choice in Kashgar. This is in a good location, easy walk to Id Kah mosque, and reasonable walk to People's Park and many of the interesting Uighur streets. Our room was spacious and clean, good air-conditioning. The shower was bad however, and rarely got above a trickle. Breakfast was O.K, but not as good... More

Don't be taken in by the outward appearance of this hotel and even the lobby. The rooms are shabby and heavily in need of a thorough refurb. The walls are grubby, there was a huge crack in one wall (earthquake damage?), some lights didn't work, there was an inexplicable leak in the bathroom and the bed was so hard it... More

Not a luxury hotel but clean room, honest service and good breakfast. 'It far away good restaurants for dinner. Can go there without surprise. Wifi avec bon debit gratuit pour un prix tres honete. Ceci dit tres tres peu de personne parlent anglais, peut etre difficil pour certain de trouver leur chemin.

Conveniently located in a Uighar part of town. The Chinese management are rude, abrupt, and completely unwelcoming. The rooms are basic but the choice at the breakfast buffet is good. The stay was completely overshadowed by the behaviour of the hotel management

This place is a shocker. No mattresses on the bed. Most of the group had to put an extra duvet on the bed to act as some kind of support over the bare wooden base. We changed rooms because our toilet was leaking and then ended up with a shower that leaked and flooded the floor. I know that choices... More

This is an odd hotel where they don't seem to want to turn on the hallway lights. The rooms smell like smoke. The beds are like rocks. The shower does not have complete door making the bathroom quite wet when using. Breakfast was ok but Chinese

Lived and travelled around Chine, so I know what to expect. To make it short: 1. Advertised Continental breakfast, there was only Chinese breakfast 2. The bedroom was quite dirty. 3. The Business Center was closed during open hours, only had one computer and all full of dust. it was possible to write your name on the furniture. 4. We... More

Again, I preface this review of a Chinese hotel by saying I compare it to other Chinese hotels not to Western hotels of the same ratings. Please check my other reviews for comparison. Kashgar does not have many good tourist hotels (I mean by that not youth hostels or Chinese travelers hotels). This is at the higher range at 500Yuans... More

I would never wish this hotel on my worst enemy. The towels and bedding was grey and had seen better years. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel, on a good day it was a 2 star and its fully booked because the travel agents tell you that its the best in town. Not sure if I can... More

We stayed in this hotel 5 nights in June. Pros: Good sized rooms, good air-con, clean. Bed linen changed daily unless you advise otherwise. The doorman has a great hat! Neutral: very hard beds, (others may see this as a negative, but we don’t like them too soft) Carpets starting to look a little tired. Ok breakfast with ok choice,... More
