Being a solo traveler you don't get to talk to people a lot on the road, but this place provide and nice and friendly ambience that travellers from all over the world become friends and talk like they've known each other for a long time. I love this oldschool backpacker vibe. I love the big open terrace and the energetic...

Let's not forget that you are still in China. So if you are looking for a 5 star hostel that will Never happen... At least not just yet. What I mean to say is: Don't look for comfort and cleaniness and peace alltogether. However, I found this hostel pretty convinient. located on the second floor of a gold bazar, it...

I wasn't booked in at this Hostel, I had selected another one but at the last minute I was changed to this one as the other was closed for winter (not an uncommon thing in these parts). So I can say I am ambivalent about this hostel. On the plus side, the reception was warm and welcoming. In summer the...

Kashgar is the place to dream. One could spend weeks and even months stsring endlessly at the mountains and desert. Pamir is the place you need to stay. The atmosphere is amazing the food keep and the views of Kashgar are endless.

This hostel provides the very basics of what you might need out of an accommodation. The Han staff provide support in both Mandarin and English, my shared room came equipped with a pretty awesome group of people, if you are not looking to interact with other people-- stay in a HOTEL. Yes, the facilities may be a bit dated, and...

We were happy with our stay here. It's easy to find and there's a lot to see in the neighbourhood. Yes like other hostels in this part of China it's not the cleanest or most modern but our private room was pretty tidy. We liked relaxing on the rooftop platforms. Wifi was good both in and out of the rooms....

We are baffled about the current high rating of this hole. "Friendly staff" doesn't necessarily make a prison stay an enjoyable experience and there's no difference here. Starting with the filthy stairway leading to the hostel (we were too scared to even touch the walls), things don't get better upon the actual entrance. Upon arrival it was very clear that...

(very important when you'e traveling in China) The room was clean, very close to the night market and Id Ka mosque. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, I really like it and would love to...

This is a great budget place to stay in Kashgar. We were there last week. The staff are very friendly and helpful and give great advice. It is close to the mosque (which is a bit underwhelming) and very close to the night market and the excellent Eden Cafe. The rooms are clean but fairly basic. It is also very...

One of the best hostels I had been to ! Only 10 meters from Id Kah Mosque, surrounded by many restaurants and markets. Rooftop cafe was comfortable, the view was nice, they planted grapes and calabash here. Coffee tasted good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they knew everything !

“Rooms on the south side are hotter, and rooms on the north are much cooler. They also price rooms according to whether it has A/C and whether is has a bathroom. I didn't need A/C, since I was acclimated to the heat. I did take a room with a bathroom, and that was a big mistake: the bathroom was quite smelly, and literally looked as though it had never been cleaned. The buildup of grime and dust on every surface (including all porcelain) was incredible, given that the the wall partitions and hardware looked to be fairly new. Also, there were no proper walls, only thin aluminum panels making an enclosed bathroom space. I found the shared facilities to actually be cleaner, and typically used them instead. For me, the best value turned out to be the cheapest room they had on offer.”
