Stayed at Faweather Grange for 4 nights with my son. We only booked 3 days before arrival so we ended up in the largest log cabin Aspen. Quiet place, great walks from the front door and perfect for a relax Saw a shooting star and an owl whilst in the hot tub.Aspen lovely lodge with great views and a large living room with a log burner. Really affordable for what we got and quite a find. Thank you.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your holiday with us and took advantage of the great walks right from your lodge. It is very special to see both shooting stars and one of the owls. I was blessed today to watch an owl quietly soaring above the fields next to us hunting for his dinner :) I hope to see you both and your lovely dog again in the future.

It must have been around 8 years ago that we visited the Faweather Grange for the last time. Quite often your memory romanticises the past. Well I have to say, we entered last week our past again. The Faweather Grange was even better, it is a true gem. The quiet and peaceful surroundings, the gardens and cottage were well maintained too high standards, the views spectacular. We stayed over in the Montana lodge, very clean comfortable and very good beds which make you sleep better than home. I still have not worked out if it is it the bedding, or the wood from the cabin that make you sleep like a log… What we also do like of staying over on the Faweather Grange is the close proximity to many things that you can do… For i.e. we did visit; Leeds to shop and have drinks and a meal; the Grassington’s 1940’s weekend; Hawarth with it’s the Brontë sisters heritage; The Saltaire Village near Bradford a Unesco designated World Heritage Site…. It is all near. But there is much more to do and see if you want but if you don’t want to or arrive back from a long day have a jump in the Hot Tub and relax…. We will definitely be back to the Faweather Grange for sure soon, and not wait another 8 years!

We stay at Tamarisk it was a lovely lodge. The scenery was stunning. The lodge was lovely and clean. It was so quite. Just what we needed. Definitely be back. You will not be disappointed. Only issue we had was the internet. You got 500MB free but after that you had to pay for extra. I have not stayed anywhere, which you have to pay for internet.

A great place to relax and enjoy the views. We stayed in the Den, lovely views from the decking and the hot tub. The Den was a a lovely place, nice and clean and comfortable. We arrived just after 3pm and were shown to the lodge and everything was explained. The hot tub was already up to temperature which was so relaxing. We used Ubers to get into Baildon and they picked us up from the top car park and we waited no more than 10mins for one at any time. cost about £6.50. Thoroughly recommend this place.

We came here for a mid week break to enjoy my boyfriends birthday. We stayed in Tamarisk and saw many different reviews so didn’t know what to expect but it’s lovely. We saw a lot of reviews complaining about cobwebs and dust, we did not have this issue and the cabin was very clean however I personally wouldn’t feel the need to complain if there were a few little cobwebs or dust after all it is a country log cabin. The living room area is big but really cosy on a night the tv and sound system was great we didn’t use the log burner so can’t comment on that. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals however the fridge and freezer is a little small so keep that in mind when bringing food for a longer stay. The bedroom is on the smaller side but we didn’t mind this as it was cosy and felt like home. The bed is very comfy and the pillows, duvet and bedding are lush. The bathroom is also a little small but we didn’t find this a problem, the temperature of the water is fine. (the hot water can get very hot so do be cautious) The water pressure of the shower is good. The hot tub was lovely and very easy to use. The only problem we had is when using the hot tub midday there seemed to be a lot of flies circling the hot tub however this is not the owners fault and we decided to just get in at night which was so peaceful. The front decking has a lovely seating and table area with great views. The drive up sconce lane is tight but if you are a confident driver it shouldn’t be a problem. The only thing I would say is maybe a few extra towels would be nice just simply for the hot tub, we brought 2 of our own and used them for the hot tub but would be nice if they were provided. The Faweather grange website provided us with different walking route’s and we did the circular walk though a woodland valley. It was beautiful with lots to see we also stopped by low springs farm and used the vending machine to get a milkshake for the walk back to the cabin. Overall we had a great experience the staff are lovely and it was nice to be left alone but to know the help and advice was there if we needed it. Don’t let the bad reviews stop you from booking, the experience is what you make it. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you to the lovely staff for being so welcoming.

I've been here a few times over the last 15 years but haven't been for 10 years so was a little worried that things may be a bit tired looking but this definitely wasn't the case. Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived. We stayed in the Nest and I'd brought my mum for a 2 night stay. The cabin was modern and had everything we needed. We booked for a therapist to come to the cabin to give a facial and massage for my mum which was pure luxury. The hot tub was amazing, bed so comfy and everything we needed was to hand. We went for a couple of trips into Ilkley to Bettys Tea Rooms which was great and took a trip to the Woolpack in Emmerdale village. I literally couldn't fault anything and we will definitely be back.

The moment you arrive you are feeling welcomed and relaxed. Upon entering our accommodation (montana) the words WOW where uttered by us all. Immaculate and designed to feel like your at home but away from home. All modern appliances, every cooking implement you will need and the recling chairs just say use me and enjoy. The bedrooms are comforable and the bedding was really nice. Has very good heating so in the cold months it was will be more than cosy( a couple of chilly nights experienced) The hot tub provided to be a great hit and was used at least twice a day, my knee pain dissappeared which i was excited about. The views were amazing looking out of the window into the countryside. The only negative i could find is having a lovely whirlpool bath, there was not enough hot water in the hot water tank to fill it. This place was picked by us so our daughter could relax before her GCSE's and it most definately hd the desired effect.

The setting is gorgeous but we left a day early. To be honest I would have left the day we arrived. My son is being assessed for neurodivergency. He was a little way up a slope which admittedly is not where he should have been but I was dealing with it in the way I have been taught on courses I did. The owner came out to intervene and grabbed hold of my son. She clearly thought I could not control my own child and was obviously looking down her nose at me. I felt very uncomfortable. The manager, Danny, however was the complete opposite. He was genuinely friendly and helpful. Really professional and understood why I was upset about it. It's a shame about the incident with the owner and perhaps some training in disability and customer service would help.

I am very sorry to learn you were upset, there was no intension just the safety of your little one. From our perspective it was clear your little one was in danger (which you obviously did not see) and acted quickly to avoid any accident or injury occurring to him. Thank you for your comments about Danny, we will be sure to pass them on. We take the safety of all our visitors and staff seriously and will be looking into the report of the grey dog repeatedly biting a member of staff's ankles as he undertook his daily hot tub checks. We wish you well and hope you have a lovely Easter.

Faweather grange lovely, and the hideaway was a great lodge, overlooking trees and rolling moorland. Clean beds, clean lodge, clean hot tub 😊. We booked as dog friendly, and arrived to find fresh water, dog biscuits, and dog towel ready for our canine companion. Complementary toiletries, locally sourced fresh milk, tea and coffee a nice unexpected touch for the humans too. The private deck, hot tub, and portable Bose speaker turned the stay from a nice experience to a great one. The lodge had everything we needed, and although there was peace and seclusion, it was central enough to visit local shops, walks and amenities easily (and get takeaway delivered) Before we booked we read some reviews that were critical of the tight turn / narrow access road, and were relieved to find a normal single track country lane.
