We have just returned from a weeks stay in the Aspen lodge which was an amazing relaxing week. The surroundings are idyllic and it is so peaceful that you can literally only hear the birds singing. This lodge is perfect size for families however we had a mix of this and time on our own as a couple (and pooch) as the family had to go back home due to work and school. There is a large grass area to play rounders/ tennis etc, also the little golf course further down. Lovely to spend time in the hot tub on an evening drinking Prosecco. Whoever goes in next will have a new tub to experience as it was delivered before we left. You can see this is a beautiful place and the owners / staff are busy making it a good experience too continuously updating. Plenty of walks around and Bluebell Woods is literally 5 minutes away....although we got a little lost one day on one of our walks!!!! Loads of farm and wild animals to see around the area too, we had a duck visit the lodge daily which was nice. If you like Indian food you must try the Balti House in Baildon, it was the best Indian food we have tasted and they deliver to the lodge although we collected. We did have a few housekeeping issues when we arrived however these were resolved immediately. The owners and staff were very friendly and happy to help if you have any questions/ queries. We would visit again and are looking at next June for the same lodge if it is available.

We had a short two night break here and loved it. Friendly contact less check in. We stayed in serenity which was nice. It isn't the most private of the lodges as the footpath is nearby but we barely saw anyone. Hot tub and sauna ready on arrival. Both were fabulous after long days. Some of the things could be updated but I think the views and surroundings coupled with the hot tub and sauna are what you pay for here. Would like to come back and stay in the lookout. So much beauty and wildlife made for a great stay. Visited Bolton Abbey and the cow and calf pub whilst we were here. Both stunning too. Thank you for a lovely stay. Will be back :)

Me and my boyfriend stayed for my birthday weekend and the place was lovely! We stayed in the Montana, which is really big, has everything you need apart from a washing machine (but there’s a laundrette in Baildon) I brought things with me that I didn’t need as it’s all there, you literally just need a food shop. The lodge was clean and the hot tub was top! When we arrived they gave us extras we didn’t ask for, which was nice. There is a lot of parking and extras that you can hire as well. It’s nice and quiet also. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place!
