Large old seminary building. The rooms are basic but clean; some are en suite. Breakfast was basic but adequate.Staff were helpful with patchy english. We were not able to get our credit cards to work so had to pay in cash. Wifi is available in reception area

I stayed for two nights at Maison Saint Anthelme. Yes - the building has a lot of charme and the rooms are clean, although also very noisy and very simple, We had a room with shared bathrooms and shared toilets - and those were really horrible - the charme of the 1960'ies still survived there. I did not feel comfortable...

Stayed here on a cycling trip down the Rhone Valley. Very safe cycle storage. Quirky but lovely surroundings. Basic but quiet room. Good value. Lovely town to explore but nearly everything shuts down pretty early in the evenings.

The former seminary is a very suitable place for budget travelers. Simple accommodation and very close to downtown Belley and its picturesque streets and shops, cathedral and museum. The simplest breakfast in France. Flaky wallpaper, shaky wifi, but cheap tariff.

Hard to give rating review... Accommodation was really poor, shared toilets were terrible (cloggy) and there was big noise at night...It was not easy to park my car at first, because there was a wedding. It is probably college, because I can not understand the noise of children at midnight otherwise. Corridors are so huge and empty, that you feel...

We stayed in this place for three nights while exploring the Belley area and agreed that it was one of the strangest places we'd even stayed in. On the outside, it is a remarkable, large building; a seminary that was still in use in the 1970's. Once you get inside, you are exposed to a mixture of a creche, old...

“First floor, facing the front for wi-fi and view. Make sure you insist on a double bed (grand lit) when you book in advance and when you arrive. We booked one and they gave us a single and camp bed for the first night ( a weekend problem, apparently). Book breakfast for the first day only to try it out.”
