I stayed here for just one night as part of a long road trip. Wilderness is a bit off the beaten track, compared to Narkanda, but we decided to stop here because of the great reviews. Our room was pretty great - large, with wood panelling and a nice look-out balcony. The food was great, and there was a lovely... More

Very nice stay. Staff was cordial and helpful. Met the owner only briefly. Food was nice though not extravagant. They were adding new rooms when we went so it would be much more crowded now. Access is a bit difficult so call ahead for.direcrions.

We visited in end of June. The rooms have outstanding views which cannot be described but only be experienced. The food was very homely but delicious and the staff and the owners were so friendly and eager to help on any request. The rooms don't have TV or telephone and obviously no WiFi but that enables you to enjoy and... More

Firstly kudos to Mr. Rajesh Mukhyan for maintaining the property and also hospitality at its best. I visited The Wilderness with my wife and kid (3.5 yrs) and it was an absolute pleasure to be there. We stayed for 2 nights and we didn't feel like going out anywhere. It was supposed to be a relaxing trip and this property... More

If there is one hidden gem, it is The Wilderness in the Narkanda area of Himachal Pradesh. Six of us stayed there for 5 days, last week and our first reaction was we should have stayed there for at least one week. The wilderness is a small property and that is its charm…. beauty. Well maintained. It has a great... More

Well well, about 11km ahead of Narkanda town you reach this beautiful resort..all your tiredness is lost moment you step in and greeted by an elderly lady and Vijay who are care takers here.. The panoramic view takes your breath away..small in size but the resort gives a complete chance to be close to nature, fill lungs with unpolluted air... More
