Big old-school hotel from communist era. Although renovated still one can get a room with broken window sticked by tape. Restaurant always crowded with local people celebrating that is why always crowded and noisy. Breakfast is fine. Great view of the town and the Danube river. The centre is a short walk away.

Clean, spacious rooms with great view of the Danube. Very reasonable rates. Nice breakfast, friendly staff, convenient free parking. Just a short walk to the center of Vidin. Breakfast on the terrace was very enjoyable.

We were traveling with our children, going on family vacation and had to break down the long journey. We were given a nice apartment, at a very good price breakfast included. Breakfast is very rich. We had a good rest both times, the beds were very comfortable, rooms clean and fresh. Overall it was a very good experience.

Stopped here for two nights. The hotel is just over the new bridge that links Romania with Bulgaria. We had no booking but was met by a lovely young man who spoke excellent English and informed me that he has a room for 22 euros per night including breakfast. Rooms were large in size and clean. We went down for...

Enjoyed our recent stay here. Good value. Nice breakfast of scrambled eggs or omelette and toast included in room rate. Chosen because we had our border collie with us who was allowed in all areas. Would stay again. Loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Receptionist spoke English and everything was "no problem". Recommended!

This is probably a communist era hotel but it has been completely updated (except for the size of the elevators). I paid 40 leva (about 21 Euros) for a single with breakfast (for 5 leva more dinner would have also been included). My room was 805, it was clean, reasonably sized, single room, including cable television and internet. The bed...

We chose this hotel by chance as it was the first one that caught our eye as we were driving in and it was a great choice! The two receptionists (one in the evening and one the next morning) were extremely helpful and friendly, with exceptionally good English ("my English isn't too good, I get confused between 'possibly' and probably'...

I stayed here for one night in a large double room. It was a clean place with a very impressive panorama of the Danube River. The parking is free. I was not interested in having breakfast even if it was included. The elevator is a real danger for your kids and even for you in case that you don't pay...

“Vidin is a quiet city, so noise is not a problem, but the upper floors are very quiet and offer a good view of the river. The elevators are not attached to the walls of any of the rooms so you should not have to worry about hearing the elevator.”
