We stayed for two nights in July. We had a room in the separate single storey block with a good sized bed and a good shower and was reasonably priced. However we felt that the restaurant lacked any character, although the standard of breakfasts is very good. Would recommend The Bell at Brisley for lunch/dinner.

Sadly was only staying fro the one night as was in the area for a wedding. What a find ! I was in room 10, one of the exterior rooms which was great ! As the title of this suggests, the bed was so confortable with super-crisp linen and the best pillows ! Bathroom spacious and with a brillaint shower......and a great cup of PG to wake me up........just before venturing to the main building for most delicious smoked salmon and srambled eggs - YUMO ! Full english looked amazing as it passed by me en route to another table but, with my heart in my mind, decided against it. Great spot , Great value and charming staff

Friendly greeting at reception and room very clean and modern (room 14 - outside of main hotel)- beware you don’t bang toes on base of beds! Evening meal in garden was freshly cooked - pub menu but enjoyable. Breakfast an additional cost but overnight rate was reasonable. Continental breakfast £5.50 and full English £9.50. We opted for continental as full from evening meal - very basic ( no fresh fruit) though porridge and yogurt good. About 25 minutes from Holkham
