Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a family, we have stayed in many premier inns all around the country. This one at winnersh was definitely up there with being one of the cleanest and nicest premier inns we have stayed in. The rooms were very clean, no stains on carpets or walls, and had working air con. The kettle and the cups were lovely and clean, and there was plenty tea and coffee available (5 of each instead of the usual 1 or 2). We were right next to a train line, but never heard any trains going past. The bathrooms were lovely and clean with no mould and plenty of shower gel. The receptionist was very polite and attentive. You know what your getting with a premier inn, but it really makes a difference when the little things are done correctly.

The system was down on arrival. With a group of 5 adults and 10 children being made to wait over an hour in reception to check in because the self check in was down. We kept being pushed to the back of the queue for no apparent reason. The staff then saying if you have paid for breakfast but haven't booked a table good luck with trying. The attitude of the staff was nothing I have ever experienced and would never stay in this hotel again.

we only stayed here as we were visiting family who could not accommodate us. Like most Premier Inns it was soulless but adequate We slept well as there was no noise from the busy road close by. We did not eat there at all

Great location for M4 plus train station. Received a warm welcome and was easy to check in and out. The room was comfortable and clean. Liked being able to top up tea and coffee supplies at the reception.

Clean and spacious rooms. Good sanitation, with an above average size shower. Comfortable beds. Poor complimentary WiFi though, unsuitable for doing work for business. During a 3 nights stay bed was not made and towels were not replaced. The full breakfast is good value for money.

Love this premier inn staff are friendly and always happy to help... Rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaners are helpful and curtious. Bar and block breakfast and dinner are the best 👌 super service and great value. Stayed 5 times and will definitely be back. Parking is free and easy. Just a shame free WiFi not wasn't working last visit.

Room and accommodation was fine. First thoughts of food, connected to the steak house so was happy. First night, steakhouse special burger was shocking, the burger disintegrated in seconds in terms of the meat. My partner was poorly on the second day, but not guaranteed if it was the food. Second night, we was there almost 2 hours, waited 40 minutes between main and desert, despite asking 3 separate people, we was isolated in a corner, no check ups whatsoever. Food quality for our stay was so disappointing, we wanted to come back, but the ‘meal deal’ was not worth it, with one of us becoming poorly due to it.

Very helpful and friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant for breakfast - a great start to the day and good food. It is convenient for Reading and the surrounding areas as it’s just by the A329M. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

I was assigned an accessible room (for unknown reasons) which provided me with some difficulty. The bathroom fittings were very low down for me and the bed was too short. For some reason it was only 190cm long compared to the standard beds in your other rooms which appear to be 200cm long. I asked at reception after my first night if I could be moved to a room with a normal length bed and was told yes. I came back that evening in order to move into the new room and was then told that it wouldn't be possible. Waking up with back pain because my feet have been hanging over the end of the bed all night is not ideal.
