Rose Cottage - one week Where do I begin to describe the wonderful experience it was for us all staying in such a delightful place? If you want a peaceful holiday with great, central access to all of Devon's delights then this is your place! I stayed with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and new grandson in the beautiful Rose Cottage...

This is just the best B & B we have ever stayed in. We have stayed here two years running now for our anniversary in July and you will never find a more luxurious place to stay. Bed and Breakfast is the wrong name for it - the luxury and spoiling you get beats any 5 star hotel. You get...

What a fantastic place to stay. We have never experienced such attention to detail regarding the accommodation and the comfort of the guest. The landlady, Dawn and her son Jason were such good hosts. We stayed 2 nights and on each afternoon Dawn offered us a cream tea! The breakfasts were superb, Dawn making a point of offering different choices...

We really didn't want to write a review on Tripadvisor for fear of not being able to get a booking again, but in fairness to this super establishment we suppose that we ought to tell you about Devon's best kept secret! My wife and I had been house hunting in the West Country in 2013 and got fed up with...

We stayed for two nights at Waybarton as we were attending a wedding near by last weekend. Dawn is truly and incredible person, she has created a beautiful home as well as a luxurious country B & B. The attention to detail is at such a high level, from the warm welcome of a gorgeous devon cream tea to crystal...

We stayed for just one night last week-end and the experience was a delight. Cream tea on the lawn! Lovely people in a lovely home in a beautiful setting. What could be better? Thank you Dawn and Jason.

We have just left Way Barton this morning after a two day stay, Dawn the owner is the most wonderful host and is very warm and welcoming. The accommodation is first class and she has gone to every length to make sure our stay was most comfortable, the breakfast is outstanding, nothing is to much trouble, the grounds were superb...

We stayed in the cottage, fully equipped with everything you could want and the most beautiful setting. We even got fresh eggs for breakfast! It looks out over fields and down to a lake, the pictures don't do it justice. A lovely wood burning stove to cosy up in the evening and a princess and the pea 4 poster that...

The best breakfast by far of any B and B that I have stayed in. The table is set with crystal and silver and before you know it it is mid morning and you are on your second pot of excellent coffee! Comfortable beds and good showers with a plentiful supply of fluffy white towels and plenty of 'extras' in...

We had a wonderful stay at Way Barton this August. We arrived cold, tired and wet after the second leg of our coast to coast cycle ride. Dawn, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely stay. The cream tea on arrival and breakfast the next day were exceptional. The rooms are spacious and...

“If you book as two couples and you like a big, romantic brass bed pick the master bedroom with the ensuite bathroom. If you prefer a big, roomy shower rather than a bath, pick the twin room and ask Dawn to zip the twin beds into a king size.”
