Although February is perhaps not the best of times to venture into Northumberland's National Park the warm welcome from Terry more than compensates. A cosy lounge with log burning stove was just the place to chill out before our visit to the observatory. On returning our comfortable room was waiting with a large bed to snuggle into. After a really...

We arrived at Twenty Seven B&B earlier than we had indicated but Terry welcomed us warmly. We were staying there so we could go to the Observatory that evening. We had a ground floor bedroom which was very well equipped with a tastefully decorated modern en suite. After a perfect night's sleep and a delicious breakfast in the conservatory we...

The stay was very welcoming and Terry was a friendly and attentive although he is not on site so it is important to tell him expected time of arrival. However had there been a problem, he lives close by. We had a family room which was comfortable with en-suite shower room. It was warm and comfortable, and further there was...

Great location and only a short walk to a pub serving food. The house has a lovely cosy lounge and very comfortable bedrooms with tea and coffee making facilities, fantastic breakfast in the morning. Very restful, relaxed atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lovely to return to Kielder to explore the forest and sculptures. 27 is a lovely , spacious converted foresters cottage. Terry was a great host, so helpful and arranged a booking for dinner at a local pub. Room and beds as you would expect from 4* B&B. All great!!

We arrived about 20 mins early prior to checking in, but as Terry was in lighting a fire was more than happy for us to come in. He was extremely helpful especially as we had asked where we could eat as my husband had read a notice on the pub door that it was closed. Terry phoned to check and...

Much more luxurious than we were expecting for a B&B in a small, remote village. Room was clean and well furnished, bathroom was great too. There's also a comfortable sitting room downstairs. Owner Terry was friendly and helpful, and the cooked breakfast came in generous portions. No problems finding a parking space out the front.
