We chose mandawa as the best place to visit the havelis in the area and we're pleased we had. Both the town and the hotel were lovely and the hotel manager arranged for one of his staff to accompany us around other villages which was really informative and interesting. Rooftop restaurant was great and we even saw a wedding party...

We stayed for one night only, bit enjoyed our stay. The rooms are beautifully painted but bedding and carpets could be cleaner. The staff was very friendly and not intrucive. The food was very good home cooked food.

Rooms are clean. Paintings on the walls are quite nice. Could have been a much nicer experience had it not been for: - constatly being nagged by a local who says he is raising money to pay for his little sister's studies and will guide us through town to in the end make us sit down by his "uncle's" carpet...

First, the paintings in the hotel, although modern, follow a tradition of great artistic merit ; the hotel is cheap and very confortable, with small or large, AC or non AC rooms. It is located in the city of Mandawa, which is central in Shekawati : all the small cities with painted havelis are located between 20 to 40 km...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even though I had problems with my bank card, the boss and the staff did their utmost best to help me. The paintings on the walls of the rooms are just awesome and brings in some way a dimensional change. I really felt comfortable in...
