A hidden gem nestled in the rain forest and not far from Uki, Nimbin, Mt Warning and Byron Bay. Friendly hosts, very clean 3 star accommodation. Shop at the local markets (Uki on a Saturday morning) and the motel provides cooking facilities. Kick back and enjoy the sound of silence (there is no reception here for TV, wifi or mobiles)....

If you are looking to watch TV or rented DVD's this will NOT be the place for you to stay. However if you are looking for some peace and tranquillity, comfortable accommodations and watching the stars at night, then zero in here. 18 July 15 Enjoyable time spent at this Hideaway, clear starry skies at night while toasting marshmallows. And, during the day checked out the creeks and walks, the neighboring towns for a cultural experience, met the locals and checked out the various unique shops ect. Thanks to the awesome owners who are most accommodating and approachable, for a great weekend....

Recently stayed here as it was the closest I could get to Mt Warning on short notice, lovely setting however rooms, though very clean, need maintenance as well as updating, and kitchen lacks basic utensils etc like microwave dishes, tea towels, detergent. Also oven didn't work.

Escaping from the weekend heat and hectic nature of Brisbane, we needed a place that was boutique and smaller than that other places where we could just unwind from a busy two months. Mount Warning Forest Hideaway offers that environment and much more. First if all, there is no mobile phone reception, so you're very much not around the harmful...

What a location. You don’t get much closer to the natural world than this. Great for anyone who wants to escape the concrete jungle. Pros: Beautiful natural environment. Clear starry sky. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great fresh local produce nearby. Close to some great National Parks. No TV. No mobile reception. Nice little picnic baskets full of real food available....

Recently stay due to location for a fun run and the peace and quiet! The place is VERY run down, in need of TLC. Extremely basic and VERY out dated. Charged $150 for one night extremely over priced for very basic one star accommodation. Location/setting is quite tranquil. Owners needs to update rooms inside and out. Garden need urgent attention.
