What I liked best about his hotel is its location! So nice situated in what can be called a valley. The staff was very co-operative too. We reached hotel very late at night and they took special pains to make a superb dinner specially for us. It was just like home cooking. Another advantage is that the hotel is very...

Sad to see such a nice place in shambles. Not worth staying unless you book an AC room! Location: the place is located on the main Ranakpur road almost walking distance from main Jain temple. The property is built at a beautiful location, but is running into shambles - more details below Rooms: Being the December season we booked a...

We reached this govt. property on 27th oct. and found the situation quite surprising. There was only one staff in the hotel having no intimation about our online booking. However he gave a room which had an AC not properly functioning. The bathroom was without the functioning of geyser and dirty also. The positive aspect was the behaviour of the...

The RTDC hotel in Ranakpur is located pretty close to the Jain Temple (about 150m away). The hotel is surrounded by a forest area and there is nothing around the hotel except for the Jain temples and a couple of shops. The hotel itself is reasonable considering it is in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were large and reasonably...

A twin room is of a good size and comfort. The location of the hotel is perfect for stay with beautiful surroundings and natural setting. The wonderful Ranakpur Jain temple is just at three-four minutes walk from the hotel. Nearby sunset point at the lake is a beautiful and photogenic place with a lot of opportunity of bird watching. Located next to Ranakpur temple. You need to have your own vehicle to go anywhere. Rooms are good at a price provided. We had A/C, hot water in the room. Staff is helpful. Food is not at all good and you may have to travel to Sadri (8kms) to get good food. The place is peaceful and close to the...

The twin room for 800 was clean and a good size. We were worried we would have to walk 2 or 3 km from the bus stop into town but this is right by it and cheaper so we thought it was well worth it. It is really quite here (we were the only guests when we went) and you...

In Ranakpur, if you get dropped by the bus from Udaipur, you are near the Jain Temple and there is NOTHING around, just one tea shop. And no rickshaw to bring you to a hotel. Seems like you have a car with driver or you don't exist. So we went in this hotel with my wife, the room was ok,...
